some major branches of biology:

Anatomy: The study of the structure of living organisms and their parts.

Physiology: The study of the functions and processes of living organisms.

Genetics: The study of genes, heredity, and variation in living organisms.

Evolutionary Biology: The study of the origin and change of species over time.

Ecology: The study of the relationships between organisms and their environment.

Microbiology: The study of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa.

Botany: The study of plants, including their structure, growth, reproduction, and classification.

Zoology: The study of animals, including their structure, behavior, classification, and evolution.

Biochemistry: The study of the chemical processes and compounds that occur within living organisms.

Molecular Biology: The study of biological processes at the molecular level, including the structure and function of molecules within cells.

Cell Biology: The study of cells, their structure, functions, and processes.

Immunology: The study of the immune system and its responses to pathogens and other foreign substances.

Neurobiology: The study of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.

Biotechnology: The use of living organisms or their components to develop or create useful products and technologies.

Bioinformatics: The application of computer science and statistical techniques to analyze and interpret biological data.

These branches of biology are interconnected and often overlap, reflecting the complexity and interconnectedness of living systems

What is biology...??

Biology is the scientific study of living organisms and their interactions with the environment. It is a branch of science that focuses on understanding the structure, function, growth, evolution, and distribution of living organisms.

Biology encompasses a wide range of topics, including the study of cells, genetics, physiology, ecology, evolution, and taxonomy. It explores the various processes and mechanisms that occur within living organisms, from the molecular level to the ecosystem level.

Biologists use various methods and techniques, such as observation, experimentation, and data analysis, to study living organisms. They aim to uncover the fundamental principles that govern life and contribute to our understanding of the natural world.

The field of biology has many sub-disciplines, including botany (study of plants), zoology (study of animals), microbiology (study of microorganisms), genetics (study of heredity and variation), and ecology (study of interactions between organisms and their environment), among others. These sub-disciplines allow biologists to specialize in specific areas of interest and contribute to our collective knowledge of living organisms.

Pasteur.....
Father of fermentation, modern microbiology, and industrial microbiology developed Vaccine of rabies and chicken Cholera and gave pasteurization technique to eliminate bacteria from wines. pasteurization is a Method of preservation of milk at 63 degree Celsius( 145 Fahrenheit )for 30 minutes or 72 degree centigrade for 15 seconds followed by sudden cooling preferably at zero degree centigrade. This pasteurization is not sterilization it simply kills vegetative forms of disease causing bacteria.
