RAKHI — A BOND OF LOVE, RESPECT & SPIRITUALITY 🙏

Today, we were honoured to be invited to the Brahma Kumaris Centre (Om Shanti), Kurseong, where we received the sacred Rakhi from beloved Durga Didi and the members of the Brahma Kumaris family.

Durga Didi also shared a beautiful spiritual message on the importance of protecting our inner self, cultivating positive thoughts, and creating good karma. Our actions have consequences, and every deed leaves an impression—reminding us to choose kindness, compassion and goodness in our daily lives.

With great warmth and affection, Rakhi was tied by Durga Didi, followed by a gracious offering of tea and food by the members of the Om Shanti family.

It was more than a Rakhi celebration—it was a spiritual moment filled with love, reflection and a valuable moral lesson. 🌸

SUCCESS STORY | FROM KURSEONG TO DUBAI! 🇦🇪

We are proud to share the inspiring journey of Mr. Mani Raj Rai, a former student of Glorious Institute of Hospitality Management (Glorious IHM), Kurseong.

Hailing from Rohini Kothi Dara Tea Garden, Kurseong, Mani Raj completed his industrial training at Taj Chia Kutir, Kurseong, where he developed his culinary skills and gained valuable industry experience.

Today, he is successfully working in Dubai in the Food Production Department, specialising in Arabic Cuisine. 👨‍🍳🌍

PLANTING TREES TODAY, PROTECTING OUR TOMORROW! 🌍

Today, our students of Glorious IHM ( run by OASIS NGO) took part in a mass tree plantation drive in collaboration with the Kurseong Municipality, Evan Foundation, and other dedicated volunteers.

The initiative was guided by a simple yet powerful vision—to protect our environment, increase greenery, and contribute towards a healthier and sustainable future.

As an educational institution, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. It also means taking responsibility for our community and environment.

We are proud to see our students come forward and contribute to the Government’s vision of a greener and cleaner future. 🌿

WHEN A SOCIAL WORKER COMES TO LEARN FROM GLORIOUS IHM

We were pleased to welcome Ms. Sriya Rai, an MSW student from IGNOU and a social worker associated with an international NGO, to Glorious Institute of Hospitality Management (Glorious IHM).

During her visit, she interacted with Mr. Gagan Lama, Director of Glorious IHM and a social work professional, to gain insights into community development, youth empowerment, and practical approaches to social work.

The discussion covered various aspects of social work practices, community engagement, and techniques for creating positive social impact. She was particularly interested in learning how Glorious IHM combines skill development, youth empowerment, and community initiatives.

At Glorious IHM, our learning extends beyond hospitality. We are also happy to share our experiences and knowledge with students and professionals who are working towards building stronger and more empowered communities.

SUCCESS STORY | FROM MUNGPOO TO HYATT!

We are delighted to share the success story of Ms. Abilasha Manger from Mungpoo.

After completing her Higher Secondary education from Saraswati Higher Secondary School, Mungpoo, Abilasha came to know about Glorious IHM through our career counselling sessions and decided to join us to pursue her career in hospitality.

Today, we are proud to share that she has successfully completed her training and has been selected at Hyatt, Gujarat, a globally recognized hospitality brand.

Several of our other students have also been selected at Hyatt and are performing well in their respective roles.

Today's practical session was a wonderful blend of culinary skills, creativity, and teamwork.

Our students prepared and presented a variety of delicious dishes, including crispy onion rings, potato cheese balls, and glazed chicken wings, before professionally serving them to the faculty.
