Yesterday October 19th, Our Diwakar Buddhist Academy Kalimpong's education board member and teachers of Diwakar Buddhist School organized a quiz competation between class 1-5. They came here to judge and grade them to according. It was fun and at the same time very beneficial as the kids learned many new vocabularies. They all replied very well to the questions asked and it gives us courage and confidence towards such methods when we see growth in them...

Celebration of Teacher's day and the birth of H.H Karmapa's first son.
Our program initiated with lamp offering to all the Buddhas and Boddhisattvas of ten directions for the longevity and good health of Karmapa and Snagyumla’s son and it was followed by valuable speeches from our respected teachers. After that students presented gifts to their teachers to show gratitude for showering them with the knowledge and wisdom in their daily life. Students also performed songs and dance for their teachers to thank them.

We had organised various kind of games which was also participated by our beloved teachers. It was indeed a very joyful and memorable teacher's day. ALL THE TEACHERS APPRECIATED ALL THE RESPECT AND LOVE THEY RECEIVED FROM THEIR STUDENTS.

With heart full of joy, we celebrate the birth of His Holiness Karmapa's son. We make this smoke offering to all the dieties and protectors of the Dharma to fullfill our only wish of longevity of H.H Karmapa, Sangyumla and their son. May many auspiciousness await for all well wisher of our lineage and all sentient beings.

Diwakar Buddhist School has started half yearly examination from today the 22nd June 2018 until 28th June 2018. The students were given five days of study leave to prepare for their exams. We would like to wish our students very best on their examination.
As soon as the examination is over the students are likely to get five days of summer.

Today we have completed 3 days puja for 4th anniversary of the Parinirvana of H.H. The 14th Shamar Rinpoche at DBS Takdah. We would like to thank Ven. Tenzing Trinley Rinpoche for his visit at our school on this auspicious day of Saga Dawa and giving long life empowerment to our students and local devotees.
