The annual cricket match between the Old Paulite Association (OPA) and the school team was held at Top Field. The Old Paulites were highly enthusiastic and determined to retain the cricket cup. Winning the toss, the OPA elected to field first. However, after eight overs, the school team had scored 54 runs without losing a wicket. Unfortunately, bad weather played spoilsport, and the match had to be abandoned.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Under-14 team on their magnificent achievement—defending the Under-14 Bicentennial Cricket Trophy for the third consecutive year. In a compelling final, St. Paul's triumphed over St. Augustine's School, Kalimpong, to seal this historic victory. To claim victory once is memorable, but to retain the title with unwavering consistency over three years is the mark of true champions. Their discipline, resilience, and collective spirit have brought immense pride to the entire fraternity.
We also place on record our deepest gratitude to Mr. Saroj Gurung, whose steadfast dedication, tactical acumen, and tireless efforts in training the boys have been instrumental in this historic run. His ability to nurture young talent and instil both skill and character has laid the foundation for this sustained excellence.
Our sincere thanks are equally due to Mr. D. Thapa and Mr. P. Chettri for their exemplary organisation of the tournament, as well as to the ground staff, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every match proceeded with seamless efficiency. Their commitment was vital to the tournament's resounding success.
We are also grateful to the participating schools for their spirited and sportsmanlike competition: St. Joseph's School, Mount Hermon School, Goethals Memorial School, Fr. Leblond School, and St. Augustine School. Each of these institutions contributed greatly to the tournament's success, and we salute them for their invaluable role in making this event a memorable celebration of youth cricket.
