International Red Panda Day 2025

On 20th September, our students visited Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Darjeeling, to take part in the celebration of International Red Panda Day.
It was a day of creativity, awareness, and fun as:
Two of our students, including our international student from Thailand, participated in the Mask-Making competition.
Two more students showcased their talent in the Poster-Making competition.
We are proud of our students for contributing their creativity to support the conservation of one of the world’s most endangered species – the Red Panda.

Joy Ride on the Toy Train 🚂
On Saturday, 20th September, our students had a wonderful time experiencing the joy ride on the world-famous Toy Train. 🌿⛰ The excitement, laughter, and scenic beauty made the day truly memorable. 💫
A day filled with learning, fun, and unforgettable moments ❤

A bright and sunny day made our short walk to the Peace Pagoda truly refreshing.
Our students enjoyed every step, soaking in the beauty of nature and learning to appreciate its calm and charm. 🍃🕊

Independence Day Celebration at Camellia School
Camellia School proudly celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism.
All our students actively took part in the special program.
Juniors Section showcased their creativity through a Fancy Dress Competition, portraying national leaders and freedom fighters.
Seniors Section participated in an exciting Inter-House Dance Competition. The Irish (Blue) House emerged victorious with a powerful performance.
Every performance reflected the spirit of freedom and India’s historical movements. The entire school was filled with joy, pride, and a deep sense of patriotism. 🧡🤍💚

A Joyful Day for Our Juniors 🎈
Yesterday was full of smiles and sunshine for our little juniors.
They went on a fun outing — playing, exploring, and enjoying every moment. 🌿🎠
From running around with friends to discovering new things, the children had a blast outside the classroom. Their laughter and energy filled the day with happiness. Even our tiniest ones joined in the fun and made sweet memories together
Days like this reminds us how important it is to let children explore, laugh, and enjoy the world beyond the school walls.

Learning Kindness Through Fun & Film 🎬
Yesterday was a very special day for all of us — both teachers and students — as we stepped out together to enjoy, learn, and grow.
Our day out was not just a break from the classroom, but a journey into understanding inclusivity — the idea that everyone deserves to be included, no matter their background, ability, or differences. Through simple moments of laughter, sharing food, helping each other, and playing together, we learned that kindness is not just important — it’s fun too! 💛
We also watched the beautiful and emotional movie Sitare Zameen Par, which touched all our hearts. It reminded us:
That every child is special in their own way 🌟
That we must look beyond marks and mistakes and try to understand feelings and hidden talents
That teachers and parents must support, not pressure, and always encourage creativity, love, and confidence
And most importantly, never judge someone without knowing their story
Together, we are learning to make our school a place where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.

It is with deep sorrow that we remember Ayush, a former student of Camellia School, whose sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a shining example of bravery, kindness, and compassion, always ready to help others with a warm heart and a generous spirit. He touched many lives with his courage and unwavering positivity. His strength in facing challenges and his ability to bring joy to those around him will never be forgotten. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of kindness and resilience will live on in the hearts of his friends, family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace, dear Ayush. You will always be remembered and cherished.
