आज दिनाङ्क २०/०८/२०२६ बिहिबारको दिन सनराइज स्कुलको तत्वावधानमा ३५-औँ नेपाली भाषा मान्यता दिवस भव्यताको साथ पालन गरियो।
विद्यालयका चारवटा सदन क्रमैले ग्रेसियस(Gracious) - रेडियन्ट(Radiant) - सिरिन(Serene) - भेलोर(Valour) माझ " वकृत्त्व कला प्रतियोगिता " आयोजना गरिएको थियो जसमा सम्पूर्ण सदनबाट विद्यार्थीहरूले पूर्ण समर्पणको साथ सहभागिता जनाए।
कार्यक्रमको पहिलो सत्रमा विद्यालयका निर्देशक महोदय, प्राचार्य महोदय, समन्वयक महोदय, प्रधान अध्यापिका, उप - प्रधान अध्यापिका एवम् परिक्षा समन्वयिकाको बाहुलीबाट दीप प्रज्जवलन गरियो भने प्राचार्य महोदयाले नेपाली भाषाको सान्दर्भिकता, महत्व र सार्थकतामाथि सारगर्भित वक्तव्य प्रस्तुत गरे।
त्यस पछि नेपाली विभागका शिक्षकहरूद्वारा छायाङ्कन मार्फत् नेपाली भाषा आन्दोलनको पृष्ठभूमि, इतिहास र सङ्ग्रामीहरूको विवरण पनि प्रस्तुत गरियो।एक दुईवटा एकल गीत अनि नृत्यहरू पनि प्रस्तुत गरेर केही सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम पनि प्रस्तुत गरियो।
विद्यालयले कार्यक्रमलाई खूबै विराट रूपमा र मनोरञ्जनात्मक रूपमा पालना गर्ने निधो गरेको हुनाले आजको कार्यक्रममा सम्पूर्ण विद्यार्थीहरूले आफ्नो जातीय भेषभूषा पहिरिएर विद्यालयमा उपस्थिति जनाएका थिए भने भोजनमा पनि विद्यार्थीहरूले जातीय आहार नै लिएर आएका थिए।साथै सम्पूर्ण शिक्षकगण पनि जातीय भेषभूषामा आज उपस्थित थिए।आज सारा विद्यालय भरिनै नेपालीपन र आफ्नोपन छाएको थियो।

Another Proud Moment for Sunrise School!

We are delighted to share the wonderful achievement of our School at the Inter-School Debate Competition organised by the School of Law, CHRIST College and hosted by Mount Hermon School, Darjeeling.

We are immensely proud of our young debater Kabya Subedi who secured the Runner-Up position for the Motion with her impressive arguments, confidence and oratory skills. We also congratulate Apekcha Gurung for her active participation.

🇮🇳 Marching with Pride | 80th Independence Day Celebrations 🇮🇳

A moment of immense pride as our Boys’ and Girls’ March Past Contingents represented our school with discipline, confidence and unwavering patriotic spirit at the 80th Independence Day Celebration held today at Gorkha Stadium. 🇮🇳

Special appreciation to our School Brass Band for their outstanding participation and excellent performance, adding grandeur, energy and rhythm to the celebrations. Their music echoed the spirit of patriotism and made the event even more memorable.

Proud of every student who marched, performed and represented our school with such dedication and enthusiasm.

🇮🇳 Honouring the Unsung Heroes of India – Class 3 Special Assembly 🇮🇳

A heartfelt and inspiring Special Assembly presented by Class 3 on the theme 'Unsung Heroes of India' celebrating the courage, sacrifice and indomitable spirit of those who contributed to India’s freedom struggle.

The young speakers brought alive the stories of freedom fighters, with special emphasis on the Gorkha Freedom Fighters and their remarkable contribution to the nation’s struggle for independence.

The energetic Khukuri Dance beautifully portrayed the bravery, valour and distinctive Gorkha spirit—a powerful reminder of courage and sacrifice.

A soulful song dedicated to Bharat filled the atmosphere with love for the motherland, while the heartfelt recitation of a patriotic poem added to the emotional and inspiring spirit of the assembly.

Through their confident speeches and vibrant performances, our young learners reminded us that true heroes are not always the most remembered—they are the ones whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire generations.
