80th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
With immense pride and patriotic favour Griffiths‘ Higher Secondary School, Takdah Cantonment participated in the 80th Independence Day at Takdah Cantonment.
On this momentous occasion, our students actively participated in the official celebrations with great discipline and enthusiasm.Our contingent displayed perfect synchronization, discipline and school spirit, earning great appreciation from the guests and audience.Students presented an impressive drill performance showcasing unity, coordination and dedication.
The highlight of the day! Our football team showed exceptional skill, teamwork and sportsmanship. After intense competition, our boys emerged as the FINALISTS and CHAMPIONS of the Inter-School Football Tournament 2026, bringing the trophy home to Griffiths‘
This success is a result of the hard work of our students, the guidance of our teachers, and the constant support of our parents.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Takdah Cantonment Independence Day Organising Committee for organizing such a delightful and memorable event and for providing a wonderful platform for the youth to showcase their talents.
We celebrate this victory with all our well-wishers and reaffirm our commitment to the nation.

My heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Omi Mariam Rai on becoming the first woman from Darjeeling to join the Agniveervayu Scheme of the Indian Air Force, securing an outstanding All India Rank 104.
