Tiranga Yatra at College of Veterinary Science and AH, Kamdhenu University, Sardarkrushinagar

To celebrate the spirit of patriotism ahead of Independence Day; on 13th August, the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) and the NCC unit of the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Kamdhenu University, Sardarkrushinagar, jointly organized a “Tiranga Yatra” as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The procession witnessed enthusiastic participation from teaching and non-teaching faculty members, UG, PG and PhD students, as well as animal owners. The Tiranga is not just a flag; it is a symbol of our unity, pride and sacrifice. Such events strengthen our bond with the nation and inspire us to contribute selflessly towards its progress. The entire event was smoothly and successfully coordinated by Dr. C. F. Chaudhari (Chairman, SRC), Dr. Arth B. Chaudhari (NCC Officer), Mr. Vaibhav Goradara (General Secretary, SRC) and his dedicated team.

A one-day workshop on “Empowering Students: Navigating Grievances and the Role of the Ombudsman” was conducted on 5.4.2025 to raise awareness and equip students with the knowledge to effectively address academic and administrative concerns. We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. A. M. Thaker, Ombudsman of Kamdhenu University, Retired Dean & Principal of COVSc, Anand and former Director of Students’ Welfare, Anand Agricultural University, for providing an insightful briefing on students’ rights and responsibilities, grievance redressal mechanisms, the pivotal role of the Ombudsman, and best practices for conflict resolution.
