*BREAKING NEWS:* NCF for School Education 2023 announced yesterday. See relevant major changes:

*Class 10 and 12*
• 2 Board Exams from next year 2024-25 (not this year)
• Combinations possible: Dec & Mar months, Mar & May months.
• Not like Term 1 and Term 2, where only half syllabus was tested in each.
• Idea is to let students improve their marks by giving any subject exam again.
• (speculation) CBSE is preparing another sample paper of higher competency level Q’s. Expected to upload soon.

*Class 11 and 12*
• Presently, only English (language) is mandatory. Now, 2 languages will be mandatory.
• Class 12 students will have to take Hindi/state language as a mandatory subject for board exams as well basically.
• No further restrictions for students to choose specific streams in Class 11/12. Students can take humanity, arts and Science subjects together.

Super-Saturn: J1407b

J1407b is the first ringed world to be discovered beyond our solar system. It’s located 434 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Centaurus. It consists of 37 rings, each of them tens of millions of kilometers in diameter. There are also gaps in the rings, which indicate that moons may have formed in between its rings. J1407b is much larger than Jupiter or Saturn, and its ring system is roughly 200 times larger than Saturn’s rings are today. The J1407b ring system has an outer radius of approximately 90 million km (about 640 times the extent of Saturn's rings). If Saturn had the same rings, we would be able to see it quite easily from Earth with the naked eye. We would even be able to see the gaps between its rings.
