‘’When talent meets confidence, miracles happen.’’
Good communication and speaking skills are essential for success in life. Learners Talk Show was conducted for the students of Grade IV to instil oratory skill, confidence and critical thinking. This competition aimed at showcasing our student’s expertise in the speaking skills. Our students spoke eloquently on values like - Honesty, Responsibility, Courage, Hard work, Gratitude, Love, Sincerity, Respect, Patience and Selflessness for the preliminary round. The Finale topic was - 'A good Education Is A Foundation for Better Future'. The champions delivered an inspiring and interesting views while discovering the power of words.

Primary Section – MSR Activity
N.L. Dalmia High School believes in spreading happiness and hence creates more explicit recognition for the needy to restructure education support so that no one gets left behind. The primary faculty of N.L Dalmia High School visited Shanti Seva Foundation Shreshthtam Street School .
It was indeed a wonderful day to spent time with the underprivileged children. Our Vice Principal and teachers gifted them stationery, communicated and spent the quality time with these children. Our Art and Craft teacher voluntarily trained the students by teaching them the concepts of shapes using the medium of Art and Craft. They were amazed with the different methodologies of teaching and learning. It was a soul-stirring experience. We learnt that educating a child means not only sharing the knowledge but also uplifting a family and the country. It makes us good human beings and better citizens in our lives by discipline, spreading love, and giving us a sense of conscience.

SOCIAL STUDIES QUIZ COMPETITION -GRADE: III
N.L. Dalmia High School, organized Social Studies Quiz Competition for the students of Grade III with great zeal. The Quiz competition commenced with the introduction. Social Studies Quiz covered various aspects like The Solar System, The Environment. The Quiz Competition had three rounds i.e Question Answers Round, Visual Round, and Rapid Fire Round. All five contestants participated enthusiastically. The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. It was a very informative and knowledge-enriching competition for the students.

KARATE CAMP-All India Gojukai Karate Do 🥋

A two days day karate camp was organized by All India Gojukai Karate Do at N.L. Dalmia High School to motivate our students to take active part in this martial art.
The first day began with the grand opening ceremony by the CEO and Principal Dr. Seema Saini along with the esteemed Dignitaries Hanshi Vispy Kapadia, 8th Dan RED Belt Founder of all India Gojukai Karate DO.

Shihan Shiraz Kapadia -Director of all India Gojukai Karate DO, Shihan Keuree Patel -Principal of all India Gojukai Karate DO and Behram Kapadia -coordinator all India Karate DO.

Principal Ma'am Seems Saini, shed some light on the significance of Martial arts followed by a warm up session conducted by Shihan Keuree H Patel and the martial art instructors’ team.
A team of experts demonstrated various techniques of karate which could be useful in self-defense's.

The participants were divided into their respective age groups and were trained by karate experts on Basics, Shio, Kata, Yaksu and Self Defense. A variety of combat styles have been honed by experts. This tournament encouraged to promote healthy living through martial arts.
This competition also encouraged students to test their physical fitness, techniques, mental strength and determination. The main objective of this competition is to develop an appreciation for Karate as a sport and an art, to improve mental discipline and emotional equanimity and to develop a sense of responsibility for one self and others.

Our achievers made us proud with:
Gold medal - 62 students
Silver medal - 53 students
Bronze medal - 60 students
Overall performance- 7 students

"Culture is a way of coping with the world by defining it in detail.” - Malcolm Bradbury.
On 3rd of February,2023, as part of EUMIND,class 9 of N L Dalmia High School had the second video conference with Lorentz Lyceum,partner School in the Netherlands.. It was an insightful and an illuminating conference where students of different backgrounds and cultures asked a huge range of questions ranging from mass media to a variety of questions like that of family life, hobbies and culture etc. It was quite amazing how the students of different cultures interacted with eachother. The conference ended with the playing of the national anthem of India as well as that of the Netherlands. It was indeed an enriching conference.

Celebrated as a national festival; the Republic Day commemorates and honours the time when the Constitution of India came into force.
N. L. Dalmia High School celebrated the 74th Republic Day with much grandeur and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the unfurling of our Tricolour by Dr. Seema Saini, CEO and Principal of N.L. Dalmia Educational Society. Dr. M.A Khan ,Director of N.L.Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research and Dr Ganesh Pawar, Principal of N.L.Dalmia Degree College also graced the occasion with their august presence.
Following the unfurling of the flag, a much synchronised and coordinated March Past by the cadets of different houses adorned the ceremony.
Patriotic songs and dances have always boosted out morale, strengthened our resolves, and restored pride in who we are, and what we represent, as a great nation. Students of the School as well as the Degree College presented beautiful feet-tapping performances adding much charm to the celebration. The sheer enthusiasm and conviction with which students delivered Republic Day Speeches in different languages lifted the patriotic spirit in everyone!
The entire N.L.Dalmia Family came together to celebrate this historical day. The programme ended with an expression of gratitude by the School Vice Captain, Mst. Bhargav Sen Bhowmik.
The identity of being an independent country brings about a huge responsibility on our shoulders. Let us bring alive our commitment towards the ‘PLANET AND PEOPLE’ while being driven by a deep sense of 'PURPOSE'. Let us celebrate the nectar of freedom with complete mindfulness and sincere love for our country!

The 21st of January will be a day of remembrance for all at N.L.Dalmia.High.School, as we witnessed an enthralling sports Day Annual Meet for the academic year 2022-23. The vivacity of our students was inexplicable. Every child put their best put forward and showcased grit and true sportsmanship. The hardwork, perseverance and resilience of Dalmians lingered in the air as well, thereby proving that 'Great things come from hard work, tenacity and no excuses'

Primary Section – Christmas Celebration
N.L.Dalmia High School Primary Section celebrated Christmas in a unique way with great fervor and enthusiasm. The boundless joy of celebrating this festival was quite evident on the faces of each child. Christmas is for joy, giving, sharing for laughter, and for coming together with family and friends.
The school wore a festive look with streamers, bells, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas trees, making hand-crafted bells, snowman and carol singing were organized for the students. The students were told about the festival of Christmas and its importance legend of Santa Claus.The delightful celebration included children coming in red and colorful party dress, bringing their favourite snacks in the lunch and sharing among the classmates.

Primary Section - MSR -My Social Responsibility Activity
NL Dalmia High School believes in extending a helping hand to serve the less fortunate people in the society. The school invited the representatives of Robin Hood Army along with their students which is a volunteer based, zero-funds organization that works towards eliminating hunger from the society.
The Principal, Seema Saini Ma'am presented a token of appreciation to the organization. The school also distributed goodie bags with stationery and grocery to the 19 students of the organization. Core team members and PTA members also felicitated the volunteers of the organization.
The idea was to create self-sustained chapters for the needy people and in the process inspire people around us to give back to those who need it the most.

DESA – ALUMNI MEET 2022 -On-line

‘We do not remember days, we remember moments’.

The presence of the alumni in the online DESA meet from across the
globe was a testimony to the fact that DESA is the most ardently
awaited event. This nostalgic review was graced by alumni from USA,
Germany, Australia, London, Canada, New Zealand, Delhi, Lucknow and
so on. It’s a matter of great pride that the alumni is holding positions of
responsibilities in different organizations.
The reunion brought back a little piece of the past and helped the
alumni to renew their ties with their Alma Mater. They were elated to
relive their fond memories and celebrate their school days. The
nostalgic reunion was a reminder that no matter how much things have
changed, our roots will continue to bind us.
The CEO and Principal Dr. Seema Saini addressed the alumni and
appreciated them for the multiple roles played by them, as many of
them hold positions of major influence in the society. She urged them
to extend support to their juniors and revive the bonds with their peers
and the School.
The meet ended with a promise to meet again and everyone bid
emotional farewell to each other and their beloved Alma Mater.

DESA – ALUMNI MEET 2022 -Off-line

A blend of past and present creates an ambience of eternal fraternity
and cohesiveness that gives a lot of value to all.
N.L.Dalmia High School organized its annual DESA Meet on 25 th
December, 2022 – the Christmas day, to take a walk down the corridors
of nostalgia. Teasers and flyers titled “DESA 2022” were released on
Social media – Instagram, Facebook, You tube.
Reunion sports were hosted on 24 th December in the school campus,
post which off line meet was conducted exclusively for the batches
from 2016 to 2022. It was a large gathering of more than 250 alumni
who made it the eve to indulge in the nostalgic reminiscence about the
days gone by.
The CEO and Principal Dr. Seema Saini addressed the alumni and
appreciated them for their presence and urged them to be contributing
members of the society, justifying the years spent by them in the
school. She encouraged them to extent support to the juniors and
revive the bond with their peers and the School.
The alumni were thrilled to be back in the campus again and interact
with one another. The short film ‘A Heist Story’ written, directed and
edited by Aamir Shaikh was received by the attendees with
commendation.
The alumni re-lived the golden memories of their journey through the
Alma Mater.

Primary Section – MSR Activity
N.L Dalmia High School believes that charity helps people to realize that it is possible to help others in a world full of uncertainties and chaos and that giving charity gives a deeper meaning to life and helps us to see our purpose to the people in our society.
The school team of council students and teachers visited another old age home named 'Sneha Sagar' in Mira Road. Individual daily essential kits and grocery items were distributed to the elderly people of the old age home. This beautiful way of doing charity gave immense happiness to the students as they learnt to help others.
The elderly people also shared their life experiences with the students which gave them mental peace and happiness. The students learnt that giving is one of the essential meaning behind the charity.
