Educational Visit under CAWACH 🚀

Under the CAWACH initiative, 18 students along with two faculty members of GCSC Dahej visited Shri Bhaikaka Govt. Arts & Commerce College, Sojitra. Both colleges share an academic collaboration through MoU.

Students actively participated in the National Seminar on “Cyber Risks and Security in the Digital Era”, featuring expert talks, academic sessions, and poster presentations.

An expert session on Environmental Awareness and Sustainability was organized on 11th February 2026 at Government Commerce and Science College, Dahej in collaboration with BEIL Infrastructure Ltd. and UPL University of Sustainable Technology.

The session highlighted key environmental issues, sustainable practices, and the role of individuals and industries in protecting the environment. Students gained valuable insights and were inspired to adopt eco-friendly habits for a greener future. 🌿

Students of GCSC Dahej College along with young participants from Prathamik Kumar Shala actively took part in this session, making it an engaging and impactful learning experience for all. 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓

From Ancient Wisdom to Contemporary Classrooms: Bhartiya Knowledge Systems in NEP-2020

A meaningful and insightful academic gathering successfully organized by Government Commerce & Science College, Dahej in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.

The workshop focused on integrating Bhartiya Knowledge Systems (BKS) with the vision of NEP 2020, bridging traditional wisdom with modern education. 

The event featured enriching sessions on:
🌿 Eco Wisdom of Ancient India
🩺 Traditional Health Wisdom in Ayurveda
📚 Ancient Wisdom, Timeless Truth

It was a wonderful platform for academicians, faculty members, and learners to explore how India’s rich intellectual heritage can contribute to contemporary classrooms and holistic education.

🥋✨ Women’s Self-Defense Training Camp ✨🥋

Petronet LNG Limited, Dahej, in cooperation with Wado Kai Karate Do Federation of India, organised a 15 days Women’s Self-Defense Training Camp at Government Commerce and Science College, Dahej.

📆 2nd February 2026 – 18th February 2026

This CSR initiative was specially conducted for our girl students, aiming to empower them with self-defense skills, confidence, discipline, and awareness. The training helped them develop inner strength and the courage to face challenges with confidence.

We sincerely thank Petronet LNG Ltd. and the trainers for supporting our students and contributing towards women empowerment. 🌸
