A truly heartfelt, and heartwarming Guru Purnima celebration in the honour of our loving Guru, Dr. Smriti Tai🌸
It was an absolute treat to our eyes watching the students of NrityaSmriti apa perform wonderful choreos composed by themselves, in their beautifully traditional Kathak attire✨
The celebration was absolutely surreal.
In every dance move, the only thing we look forward to, is to make Tai feel a little extra proud because every smile on her face feels like our biggest achievement! Through each performance, we carry a piece of grace, discipline, creativity and what not that Tai has instilled within us🥰

Beyond Grateful for everything 🙏❤️

💃🏻 We are supremely elated to share that our Tai has successfully defended her doctoral thesis - The Application of Chandashastra in Kathak Nritya: An Analytical Study, at Sri Sri University (Cuttack), and has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Kathak Dance.✨️

Join us in congratulating Dr. Smriti Talpade 🥁🥁🥁

Yet another feather adorning your glorious cap, Tai. This is not just a milestone or a degree - it is the culmination of unwavering perseverance, discipline, curiosity and an immeasurable love for your dance. We have had the privilege of witnessing your journey of learning and unlearning, questioning and growing, over the years.

This achievement is not just a personal accomplishment but also a valuable contribution to the world of Kathak, strengthening the bridge between practice, tradition and research.

Your commitment to your art is an inspiration to all and a remarkable example for every one of your students. You remind us that the pursuit of knowledge never truly ends, no matter how accomplished one becomes.

May this achievement be one of many more to come. We are immensely proud of you and grateful to learn under your guidance.

Heartiest congratulations, Dr. Smriti Tai! ❤️❤️❤️
