University students visited Lok Bhawan to witness the celebration of the foundation day of Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to learn about India’s rich cultural diversity, traditions, and administrative heritage.

During the program, students observed cultural presentations and gained insights into the history, art, and unique identity of these states and Union Territories.

The visit was both educational and inspiring, helping students develop a deeper understanding of national unity in diversity.

Overall, the visit to Lok Bhawan was an enriching experience that enhanced students’ cultural awareness and civic understanding.

We are delighted to share that Dr. Pradipta Ranjan Rauta, Assistant Professor, School of Biological Sciences, AIPH University, has been honored with the MBSI Senior Scientist Award 2025 by the Microbiologists Society, India.

This prestigious award was conferred during the International Conference on ‘Biomake in India III 2026’, held at Krishna Institute of Science and Technology, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, Maharashtra, from 9th–21st January 2026.

This recognition is a testament to Dr. Rauta’s outstanding contributions to the field of microbiology and his dedication to advancing scientific research.

This recognition honors Dr. Rout’s outstanding dedication to teaching, mentorship,
and contributions to the advancement of Microbiology.

to nurturing young minds and promoting excellence in education has made a lasting
impact on both students and the academic community.

The award was conferred upon to Dr. Rout on the occasion of the International Conference ‘Trends in Biological Sciences 2025’ held at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi from 8th to 10th December 2025.

Proud moment for our department! Our HOD, Dr. Dinesh Prasad Swain, delivered an insightful lecture on Stress Management at UP & Traffic Training Institute, Bhubaneswar, highlighting the role of yoga and meditation in mental well-being for police personnel.

Our Yogic Sciences students had the honour of presenting a vibrant Yoga Dance performance at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of the Foundation Day celebration of Assam and Nagaland.

Aligned with the inspiring theme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,” the performance beautifully showcased India’s unity in diversity. Through seamless movements, yogic postures, and expressive choreography, the students depicted the deep cultural harmony that binds our nation.

The presentation celebrated the rich heritage of Assam and Nagaland—their traditions, colours, rhythms, and spirit—while blending them with the serenity and discipline of yoga. It was not just a dance, but a heartfelt tribute to the values of national integration, cultural exchange, and mutual respect.

We are proud of our students for representing the university with grace, dedication, and artistic excellence on such a prestigious platform.
