On February 6, 2024, the Faculty of Arts, Communication, and Indic Studies hosted a book release event for the book "Early Women's Writing's in Odisha from 1898 to 1950: A Lost Tradition" edited by Prof Sachidananda Mohanty as well as an interdisciplinary seminar on Stephen Greenblatt and New Historicism at Sri Sri University, Cuttack.

On February 6, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., the Faculty of Arts, Communication, and Indic Studies will be organising a book release event for the book "Early Women's Writing's in Odisha from 1898 to 1950: A Lost Tradition" as well as an interdisciplinarary seminar by Prof. Sachchidananda Mohanty on Stephen Greenblatt and New Historicism.

On the occasion of the International Seminar presented by the Faculty of Arts, Communication, and Indic Studies, a Neo-Classical Innovation in Odissi Dance was performed by the Performing Arts Department, FACIS, and Srjan Ensemble.

Srikanta Patnaik, Director of IIMT Bhubaneswar, was the Guest of Honour and
Jesús Garcia-Madariaga, Professor of FEBS, Madrid, Spain, was the expert talk person for the seminar.
