The Celebration of Graduation Day for Grade-1 & Grade-6 Students of Our School
Graduation Day for our Grade-1 and Grade-6 students was a celebration of innocence, growth, and new beginnings. The day was not about farewells, but about recognizing little milestones in the learning journey. Our school auditorium was turned into a wonderland — pastel balloons, paper butterflies, and bright charts to set a cheerful, child-friendly mood. Parents arrived with wide smiles, eager to see their young achievers in tiny graduation gowns and caps that were almost too big for them.
The program began with a prayer and a welcome dance with Bharathanatiyam, blessing their juniors for the path ahead. Our Chairman, Dr.A.Jagadees, shared inspiring words about nurturing curiosity and character in the leaders of tomorrow. Our Academic Dean, Dr.J.Geetha, addressed the gathering and spoke about the vision of the curriculum and the Vice-Principal informed the crowd about the blending of academic excellence with values, life skills, and holistic development. The most heartwarming moment was the unveiling of the graduation pledge. Each child walked up the ramp, received a colorful certificate of completion, and a medal. Their joy was infectious — some waved at parents mid-stage, others gave their teachers spontaneous hugs. The applause from parents said it all.
For Class-6, Graduation Day celebrated their transition from Primary to Middle School under the CBSE framework. It’s a big leap — new subjects, new teachers, and a new wing of the building. They were felicitated with certificates and medals. The celebration ended with group photos and completed the event with National Anthem. More than an event, it was our school’s way of telling every child: every step you take is important, and we’re here to cheer you on.
For parents, it was a proud reminder of how far their children had come — not just in height, but in heart, habits, and learning.
