A unique institute in Cumbum Valley offering various services to overcome the difficulties and disabilities of children with developmental disabilities and to lead a meaningful life. Assessment and Diagnosis

Our multi-disciplinary team carries out assessment and diagnosis of children with autism, learning disability, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, and hearing impairment of all ages and

severity of disability. The children are then referred to regular schools, other special schools, early intervention, home-based training programmes, multi-disciplinary therapeutic clinic or vocational training as required. Multi-disciplinary Therapeutic Clinic

The clinic provides special education, remedial intervention, academic counseling and NIOS coaching, creative movement therapy, developmental therapy, sensory integration, yoga and adaptive physical education, speech – language – communication intervention, non-verbal communication (PECS, Makaton, ASL etc) intervention, auditory verbal training, physiotherapy, behaviour modification, computer aided instruction, early intervention, therapeutic art and craft, autism therapy like ABA, VBA, DTA etc. Early Intervention Programme

Early Intervention unit provides holistic training, both individual as well as in a group for children from 0-3years with developmental delays. Training is given in speech, language and communication, mobility, fine and gross motor skills, self help skills, play and socialization skills readiness skills like pre-reading, pre-writing and pre-math skills. Home-based Training Programme

ABCD provides guidance through parental training, counseling and direct intervention for those unable to attend services provided by ABCD on a regular basis due to various reasons like place of stay, severity of disability and other factors. The children enrolled in this programme attend sessions in ABCD once or twice a week as needed. ABCD also provides intensive training (one-week/one month) for those parents and children not within commuting distance of ABCD. Individualized training programmes in physiotherapy, speech, language and communication therapy, auditory training, occupational therapy, study skills and academic skills are provided through this programme. Itinerant service (Home therapy) is provided as per the request from the parents.
