Term Thanksgiving #

The school community came together for a meaningful Term Thanksgiving, marked by gratitude, reflection, and fellowship. The programme began with soulful hymns and earnest prayers, thanking God for His guidance and blessings through the past term and all our activities.

A short and thoughtful skit highlighted practical ways to overcome stress, fear, and doubt, reminding everyone of the importance of faith, positivity, and mutual support in daily life. The principal shared a thoughtful message, in the true spirit of Christmas, gifts were exchanged, spreading joy and strengthening bonds among staff.

The gathering concluded with a time of warm fellowship over tea and snacks, providing an opportunity for interaction and shared joy. The Thanksgiving served as a fitting closure to the term.

Rotary Interact Club – Induction Ceremony #

Stanes School hosted the induction ceremony of the new Office Bearers of the Rotary Interact Club for the academic year. The programme began with a solemn prayer, followed by a warm welcome that set the tone for the event. The Rotary officials briefly introduced the aims and ideals of the Interact movement, inspiring the students with its motto of service and leadership.
The highlight of the ceremony was the formal induction of our newly elected office bearers from our school .

Festival of Love – A Joyful Celebration at Stanes #

Stanes School celebrated its much-awaited Festival of Love on the 28th of November, bringing together music, meaning, and the true spirit of Christmas. The program began with an Opening Prayer and a thoughtful Bible reading, setting a reflective tone for the evening.

Students across sections presented a range of performances—from the Hr. Sec. choir’s stirring “Wake, O Earth” to the Tamil song “Kondāduvōm” and a vibrant multilingual medley in Malayalam, French, Hindi, and Bagda. Carols, dances, and skits from the junior and middle school added colour, joy, and festive cheer.

The highlight of the evening was the final performance. In complete darkness, students fitted with LED lights created a stunning visual thriller that captivated the audience. Their message was simple yet powerful: “Let your light shine.” This inspiring finale reminded everyone that even the smallest light can make a difference.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Closing Prayer, leaving the Stanes family enriched with the warmth of love, hope, and unity.

Christmas for our Support Staff #

Stanes School hosted a warm and meaningful Christmas programme to honour our support staff, recognising their dedicated service throughout the year. The event began with a welcome address followed by a special welcome extended to all support staff members.

A melodious song set the tone for the evening, prayer,Bible reading reminded everyone of the spirit of gratitude and service. The boarders added vibrance to the programme with an energetic dance performance, and a short video showcasing the everyday contributions of the support staff deeply touched everyone present.

The Principal then took the stage to honour the support staff, presenting them with tokens of appreciation. Another delightful performance by the boarders brought smiles to all. This was followed by the Dean of Residential Life, who also felicitated the support staff with heartfelt words.

The Principal delivered an inspiring address, acknowledging the invaluable role of the support staff in the smooth functioning of the school. The programme concluded with a sincere vote of thanks expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event.

Competing against 13 schools and 26 talented participants, our young debaters showcased remarkable confidence, clarity, and critical thinking.

Inspiring Stanite #
Dr. Madanagopalan a renowned retinal surgeon and proud alumnus of Stanes School, visited the campus and addressed the Higher Secondary students. A Stanite for over nine years, he fondly recalled his early school days and the strong foundation the institution gave him. He spoke warmly about the life lessons he gained beyond the classroom—through co-curricular activities, sporting events, and the many trekking adventures that shaped his discipline, resilience, and teamwork.

Today, as one of the prominent retinal surgeons in South Asia, Dr. Madanagopalan inspired the students with his journey, encouraging them to embrace every opportunity, develop good habits, and pursue excellence with dedication. His visit was both motivating and memorable for the young Stanites.

The Inter School Debate Competition organized by the International Community School on 7th November witnessed spirited participation from 12 schools and 24 speakers. Representing Stanes School, Jonathan Amaris of Std IX and Pranay Shurthi of Std XI delivered outstanding performances, securing the third place overall. Adding to the honour, Jonathan Amaris was adjudged the Best Debater of the competition.

Children’s Day Celebration #

Stanes A.I. Hr. Sec. School celebrated Children’s Day with a joyful programme of music, dance, and staff performances. The event was compered by Mrs. Renuka and Mrs. Florence.

The programme began with Prayer and Assembly by Mrs. Annette and Mrs. Retina, followed by a lively dance by Mrs. Martina and group, a melodious song by Mrs. Nalini, and a musical skit by Mrs. Rajkumari Charles and team.

Energetic performances like the Silambam display by Mr. Thinesh, a fusion dance by Miss Gracy and team, the Music Orchestra led by Mr. Leslie, and the traditional Baduga dance by Mr. Durairaj and Karthikeya’s team added colour to the event.

The celebration concluded with an inspiring message from the Principal, Dr. Glenn Croning, encouraging students to grow with confidence and joy.
