What we know of Him, is only the repository that we are capacitated with. The faculties are not traversed through the land of the unknown horizons to envisage the universal form of Him. When the mighty reveals his true form, the incapacitated fails to bear the sight same as Arjuna who had requested Lord Krishna to return to his four-armed Vishnu form.

Whether you have cultivated in yourself through Bhakti, Abhyasa and Seva to worship and revere thee, is of no concern to him; you get enriched with the degree of your devotion. Thee knows what he is, irrespective of the adoration or the ignominy, he takes nothing. What he dwells in is in the state of super consciousness, powerful and indomitable, such that the entire Universe can diffuse inside Him. He, thus, experiences Samadhi in every other moment.

A lecture on the Upanishad and Bhagavad Gita was delivered by our Guru Shrimad Karuna Bhattacharjee in the Madan Mohan Temple on the auspicious occasion of Rash Jatra. In his brief lecture, he articulated the six Bhaga (qualities) of God, id est, strength, knowledge, beauty, creation, divinity and renunciation. He further mentioned that death, the ultimate truth, may not unfold to those having Ahankara. There are a few like the Bhisma, Budhha who waited for Uttarayan for Maha Samadhi and the rest pass without knowing it. And amongst the few, his father, Pt. Subodh Ch. Bhattacharjee too attained Maha Samadhi on the auspicious day of Uttarayan. He said that one like P.B. Shelley could have attained much more than what he did if he had been born in Bharat. He further unfolded the four levels of speech described in the Vedas, id est, Para, Pashyanti, Madhyama and Vaikari Vak. He then voiced that the attributes of Krishna and Shiva, one amongst us who walked on this planet, in a human form, still exist; one can find if open to the quest. He also mentioned the tale of Raja Indradyumna and the Sabara tribe, who play a significant role in the worship of Lord Jagannath. He further remarked that the depth of Swami Vivekananda’s contributions to the world can be grasped by only a select few, just as only a handful can aspire to emulate the writings of Madhusudhan. Those who transcend the ordinary are not defined by their dietary choices or personal preferences; mere abstention from non-vegetarian food or drinking does not elevate one to their level.

All having the same lineage must strive for Purnata, the whole.

It is harder to shape a sculpture from clay than to call forth a child into the world. Years kneel at the feet of the sculptor; hands learn patience, vision and the silent language of stone and clay. No schooling guides the womb; its innate nature flows unbidden, while the artist toils, heart and knuckles worn, shaping dreams from formless earth. To birth is a miracle of nature; to sculpt is a miracle of will, for one, instinct; for the other, art born of endless endeavour. Both give life, yet only one demands a lifetime of learning.

Shri Karuna Bhattacharjee sculpting a full-bust sculpture (10 Feet) of Swami Vivekananda in our Campus at Tapobhumi, Purba Falimari. Age holds no bar for him; the incessant longing for creation, thus, manifests divinity. Each dimension and discipline he embodies is unparalleled for the world to behold and an even rarer opportunity one may wish to seize. Kirti (creation) is said to be among the attributes of Godot the divine, what less we witness here, only thee can mirror thee.

One eyeing an opportunity to sculpt is welcome.
