Sub: The random cutting of roadside trees.
Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I wish to express my deep concern about the random cutting of roadside trees in our locality.
Trees are vital to our environment. They provide oxygen, reduce pollution, offer shade, and maintain the ecological balance. Unfortunately, many trees are being cut down recklessly for road expansion and construction projects, often without proper planning or replantation.
This widespread deforestation is causing serious harm â the temperature is rising, the air is becoming polluted, and biodiversity is being lost. Even birds and small animals are losing their natural shelter.
I strongly urge the concerned authorities to stop this mindless destruction, enforce strict regulations, and take immediate steps for tree conservation and large-scale afforestation.
Kindly publish this letter to raise awareness and prompt action.
Yours faithfully,
