A traffic awareness campaign -
organized by the Department of English in collaboration with the Department of Political Science
Date: 16 December 2025
Venue : Cooch Behar Station Chowpathi.

The rally was successfully conducted with the active participation of college students and the support of the traffic police staff, promoting awareness on road safety and responsible traffic behavior.

The 9th Inter-College Athletic Meet (2025–26) under Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University was successfully organized by Cooch Behar College

The event was graced by several honourable dignitaries, including Principal of the Institute Dr. Pankaj Kr. Debnath,Avijit De Bhowmik, Director of PDCL, Prof.Madhab Ch. Adhikary, Registrar of CBPBU,Abdul Jalil Ahmed, alumni cooch behar college,Dr.Avijit Deb, controller of examination CBPBU, Sri Tapan Paul,IC Cooch Behar, Dr.Hadida Yasmin,GB member Cooch behar college along with many respected teachers and guests.
The Athletes from various colleges participated enthusiastically and made the event vibrant.

The Institute is organizing various sessions for the career upliftment of the students.

Congratulations to all the achievers. The auspicious program was graced by the August presence of MP Mr. Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia ,Dr.Pankaj Kr. Debnath Principal, Cooch Behar College,members of the Governing Body Cooch Behar College , teachers and non -teaching staff of the college.
The flavor of the event was further enhanced by the warm presence of the students and the guardians.

কেন্দ্রীয় সংস্কৃত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আর্থিক সহযোগিতায় কোচবিহার মহাবিদ্যালয় এর দ্বারা আয়োজিত একদিনের সংস্কৃত অরিয়েন্টেশন প্রোগ্রাম। প্রোগ্রামটি 18 সেপ্টেম্বর 2025 তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে । যার বিষয়টি ছিল Promoting and Popularising Sanskrit Language. সেখানে একটি প্যানেল ডিসকাশন সবার আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল যেখানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্বভারতী ইউনিভার্সিটি প্রফেসর দা সংস্কৃত কলেজ অ্যান্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি প্রফেসর কোচবিহার পঞ্চানন বর্মা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রফেসর কাটোয়া কলেজের ইতিহাস বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান কাঁচরাপাড়া কলেজের সংস্কৃত বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান। এছাড়াও কোচবিহার জেলার কুড়িটি স্কুল এবং ১৫ টি কলেজের একজন করে গাইড টিচার ও তিনজন করে স্টুডেন্ট নিয়ে এই অরিয়েন্টেশন প্রোগ্রামটি করা হয়েছিল । সেই সঙ্গে একটি নাটক পরিবেশিত হয়েছিল। নাটকটি কোচবিহার কলেজের অধ্যাপক অধ্যাপিকারা মঞ্চে অভিনয় করেছিলেন নাটকের নাম ভস্মাসুর বধ।

It is a matter of great pride for Cooch Behar College that one of our esteemed faculty members from the Department of Physical Education Miss. Bhaswati Barman has been commissioned as a Lieutenant.
