ASBM MBA | Hands-On Training Series on Behavioural Science: Personality, Motivation, and Leadership Concepts, Practices and Applications

Adithya School of Business Management, Coimbatore, successfully organised a Hands-On Training Series on Behavioural Science, focusing on personality development, motivation, and leadership for I MBA students.

The training series was led by Dr. Fredricks John, an Industry Practitioner, Fractional CEO, Strategist, and People Management Specialist, who offered rich insights into the practical application of personality frameworks, leadership excellence, and motivational concepts. The sessions were strengthened with live corporate case studies, enabling students to effectively connect theory with real organizational challenges.

The programme was facilitated by Dr.Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Professor & Director, ASBM, who, along with Dr. Fredricks John, ensured the training remained highly interactive and application-oriented. Students actively participated by presenting live corporate case studies, simulating leadership scenarios, and translating behavioural concepts into real-time managerial applications.

ASBM MBA | Hands-On Workshop on GenAI & Business Analytics

Adithya School of Business Management, Coimbatore, successfully organized a hands-on workshop titled “Leveraging GenAI Tools for Smarter Business Decision-Making through Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics.”

The workshop offered valuable insights into the practical application of Generative AI and advanced analytics in enhancing data-driven business decisions. The session effectively bridged academic concepts with real-world industry practices, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of how analytics-driven intelligence supports strategic and operational decision-making in today’s dynamic business environment.

Dr.Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Professor & Director, ASBM, facilitated the program, and to our esteemed resource persons Mr. Manoj M, Senior Research Analyst, Information Services Group (ISG), Bengaluru, and Mr. Raghuvaran A P, Faculty of Business Analytics, for sharing their expertise, practical insights, and industry perspectives.

ASBM MBA : Expert Session on Health, Wellness & the Silver Economy

Faculty members and MBA students of Adithya School of Business Management ASBM, Coimbatore, actively participated in an insightful expert session on “Health, Wellness & the Silver Economy” held on 20 January 2026 at the Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI), Coimbatore, followed by a warm Hi-Tea interaction.

The programme was presided over by Dr. J. S. Bhuvaneswaran, Director, PSG Super Specialty Hospital, who delivered a compelling address on “Prevent to Prevail,” emphasizing the importance of proactive healthcare, wellness leadership, and long-term societal impact.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Madhava Ram Balakrishnan, Vaccine Safety Expert, WHO – Geneva, captivated the audience with his thought-provoking session on “Are Vaccines Really Safe?”, offering deep insights into public health, vaccine science, and emerging opportunities within the global healthcare industry.

Adding a strategic business perspective, the Guest of Honour, Dr. Praveen G Pai, Founder & Director, Dr. Pai’s Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., delivered an enlightening talk on “Silver Economy – An Emerging Concept.” He highlighted the future of India’s healthcare-driven business models and encouraged MBA students to ideate, innovate, and build sustainable ventures addressing the needs of an ageing population.

The gathering was warmly welcomed by Shri Rajesh B. Lund, President, ICCI Coimbatore. The event was further graced by Mrs. Vanitha Mohan, a prominent business leader, former President of ICCI (2016–2018), and Chairman of Pricol Ltd., along with Mr. D. Nanthakumar, Past President of ICCI, and distinguished industry leaders and experts from various sectors across Coimbatore.

ASBM MBA | Educational Excursion: Ooty, Nilgiris

Adithya School of Business Management Coimbatore, organised a one-day educational excursion to Ooty, Nilgiris, offering students and faculty members a refreshing blend of experiential learning and leisure.

As part of the visit, participants explored a tea factory to understand the tea powder production process, cultivation practices, and marketing strategies. Students also gained insights into chocolate and cookie trade practices, connecting classroom concepts with real-world business applications. The visit to the lush tea estates amid the green mountains provided a firsthand experience of sustainable agriculture and regional industry.

Beyond learning, the trip offered a memorable opportunity to experience the beauty and charm of Ooty as a tourism destination, making the visit both educational and enjoyable.

The excursion was graciously granted by the Chairman, Er. C. Sukumaran, and the Managing Trustees, Mr. S. Praveen Kumar and Dr. Srinidhi Praveen Kumar. During the visit, the students have created an awareness of Plastic Free Nilgris along with social activists.

A special highlight of the visit was an enriching session with Ms. Patricia Pohle, Project Lead for Public Sector and Cultural Events, renowned for her expertise in complex stakeholder management and process-driven leadership, from the Berlin–Brandenburg Metropolitan Region, one of Germany’s eleven major capital regions.

Ms. Patricia Pohle engaged closely with ASBM MBA students, sharing valuable insights from her international projects, large-scale event management experiences, leadership journey, and strategic coordination across diverse stakeholders. Her reflections on process excellence, cultural sensitivity, and leadership with purpose left a deep and lasting impression on aspiring managers.
