KLDA is committed to enriching the faculty in the HEI through training, mentoring and skill development
I The specific objectives are to

KLDA is the Development Division of Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. Objective of the KLDA
KLDA is dedicated to the on-going development of faculty in HEI and also the future scope of rendering development services to employees of various sectors. Enhance the competencies for holistic development of the faculty and leaders of KCT and inspire them to venture beyond the comfort zone

. Support the development of Faculty of Higher Education Institutions across Tamilnadu and thus building productive collaborative association between KCT and the external academic community
3. Offer comprehensive, customized and co-creating training solutions for Industry, NGO and Government Organizations
Learning Models
KLDA will offer various learning models based on the requirements of the clientele. The models will include short courses (3 -5 days), Long duration programs (6 – 9 months) with the contact sessions during weekends, Internships at KCT or with Industry for exposure, workshops. It will also include outbound training programs and mentoring by senior faculty or industry professionals

Session on “Basics of Designing” on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, between 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. This session helped to understand the basics of designing an invite, brochure, newsletter. The session was facilitated by Karthik Rajendran, Designer Graphics and Tharun Vignesh Reddipalli, Visual Designer, Department of Technology Service, KCT.

Karthik Rajendran, Designer Graphics is an alumni of NIA Institutions, specialization in printing technology, 10+ years of experience in graphic designing for international clients, events industry and education institution.

Vignesh Reddipalli, Visual Designer, is an Alumni of KCT, Mechanical Engineering Graduate with passion towards Digital design has 1 year of experience as Freelance Visualizer, Worked as a Visual Designer in a brand and Advertising Startup for 2 years, and specializes on Identity creation, UI/UX for web applications and mobile apps.

Session on “Health & Wellbeing” was held on Friday, February 16, 2018, between 02.00 pm to 04.30 pm. The Session educated employees, how a healthy outlook on life can boost their productivity, helping us to work smarter instead of harder. The session was facilitated by Dr.Anitha, Spear heads the women wing of Gateway with 12 years of experience in the field of Obs & Gynecology. Very active, energetic, enthusiastic, experienced in field, patient-friendly and approachable member of the team.
