A new research paper from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus promises optimal performance on receiver systems.

A collaborative research study by Dr. Parvathaneni Naga Srinivasu, associate professor from our Amaravati campus titled "Improving output voltage of 18-pulse rectifier systems using parallel heuristic RFO" with colleagues from Poland and Austria has been published in the Measurement journal (IF: 5.6, Q1).

The study focuses on a smart, nature-inspired method (like foxes searching for food) to fix ripple (or ups and down in rectifiers that affect quality) effects on improving devices that convert electricity into a usable form (DC power). Authors report that their method quickly finds better settings to show 30% better power quality and make power smoother and more stable.

Amrita School of Business paper reports on Large Language Models in Sustainable Energy Systems.

The paper titled "Large Language Models in Sustainable Energy Systems: A Systematic Review on Modeling, Optimization, Governance, and Alignment to Sustainable Development Goals" was published in the energies journal (IF=3.2, Q1) of the MDPI.

This collaborative study with Dr. Walter Filho of Manchester Metropolitan University, explores how Large Language Models (LLMs) can enhance Sustainable Energy Systems (SESs) through improved energy modeling. optimization, and intelligent decision support.

The paper led by Amrita PhD student, T A Alka. highlights that modular and agent-based LLM approaches improve operational efficiency and policy support, but also raise concerns about energy consumption, transparency, and ethical governance. The results show alignment with SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
