A proud milestone for KIT-Coimbatore as we celebrate the 10th edition of IEEE ICSTEM’26 on 21 & 22 August 2026.

We were honoured to have Dr. T. Ramprabhu, Senior Level Scientist / Additional Director, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, and Dr. M. Venkateshkumar, Chairman, IEEE Power & Energy Society, IEEE Madras Section, as our distinguished guests.

Their inspiring thoughts on future-ready engineering, meaningful research, professional growth and Responsible AI encouraged young minds to look beyond the classroom and use technology to create a positive impact.

With 1,074 research papers received globally and 200 papers shortlisted for IEEE publication, ICSTEM’26 marked a remarkable decade of research, innovation and international collaboration.

✨ Career Insight Series 2026 | KIT Coimbatore ✨

KIT Coimbatore hosted an engaging Career Insight Series 2026 featuring two distinguished industry professionals from Lumen Technologies, offering our students valuable exposure to industry perspectives, career opportunities, and professional growth.

🎙️ Mr. Jeash Velayudhan, Senior Director & India Head – Enterprise Operations, Lumen Technologies, connected with the final-year undergraduate students through an engaging session focused on career readiness, evolving technology landscapes, workplace expectations, and preparing for successful professional careers.

🎙️ Mr. Naveen William, Associate Manager – Talent Acquisition, Lumen Technologies, interacted with the MBA students, sharing practical insights into career planning, industry requirements, recruitment perspectives, and the skills needed to excel in today’s competitive professional environment.

💡 A special highlight of the visit was the exclusive hackathon conducted for KIT students, where students presented their innovative ideas, demonstrated their technical capabilities, and showcased their enthusiasm for solving real-world challenges.

The sessions provided students with an excellent opportunity to interact with industry leaders, gain first-hand insights into the corporate world, understand evolving industry expectations, and strengthen their career perspectives.
