Are we secretly the reason behind our children’s stubbornness?

When kids throw tantrums or act stubborn in public, giving them back-to-back backup options to calm them down actually sends the wrong signal.

Their brain registers: If I keep crying, I’ll get even more choices.

To break this cycle and build real discipline, follow these 3 strict steps:

1️⃣ Set The Limit: Be crystal clear by giving them only one option.

2️⃣ No Negotiations: If they throw something away in anger, do not replace it or give alternatives.

3️⃣ Hold The Line: Stick to take this or nothing. If they continue to scream, simply walk away they will automatically follow you.

When forced, children feel insecure—afraid their belongings are gone forever. Generosity can't grow from fear.

Do this instead:

Build trust first & Reassure them: "This is your toy. Your friend will play with it for a moment and return it safely."
