Yuvabharathi bags the YLGC XV "Best Delegation – School" Trophy

Young Leaders' Global Conclave Model United Nations (YLGC MUN) is one of the mega events organised by the Global Leaders Forum (GLF) at PSG College of Technology. It is one of the oldest and among the most prestigious Model United Nations (MUN) Conferences in Southern India.

In the 15th edition of Young Leaders' Global Conclave (YLGC) – Model United Nations Conference, held on 30th and 31st January and 1st February 2026 at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, delegations from many premier schools of Coimbatore district participated. In this simulation of the United Nations, participants represented the interests of an assigned country or portfolio while seeking solutions to global and national issues. Yuvabharathi Public School participated in three school committees, and the International Press (IP) - Journalism and Photography, winning the following awards and recognitions:

RC Glider & Drone Workshop – A 5-Day Journey into Aeronautics!

Yuvabharathi organised and conducted a five-day "RC Glider and Drone Workshop" from the 7th to 11th of April, 2026, for students across Grades 6 to 8, in collaboration with the Drone Tech Centre, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.
Our young STEM enthusiasts learnt the fundamentals of aerodynamics and understood concepts such as lift, thrust, drag, and stability. They had hands-on learning by assembling RC gliders, which helped them explore structural design and real-world engineering applications.

The week-long workshop provided key insights into drone technology, including key components like motors, propellers, electronic speed controllers (ESC), and flight controllers. Students further explored remote-control mechanisms and basic flight operations while also learning essential skills such as balance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Throughout the sessions, they actively developed teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and design thinking skills, making the learning process both meaningful and engaging.

This experiential learning programme allowed students to move beyond theory and sparked their curiosity about aviation and emerging technologies.

Sathvik K from Grade 3 participated in the 15th TMPA Biathle–Triathle State Championship and the 8th TMPA Laser Run State Championship 2024-25 conducted by the Nagapattinam District Modern Pentathlon Association under the aegis of the Tamil Nadu Modern Pentathlon Association at SDAT, Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi District Sports Stadium, Nagapattinam.

Sathvik secured a Gold Medal in Laser Run and a Silver Medal in Triathle - both in the under 9 boys category.
