Our Heartfelt condolence to our beloved Former President
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam sir from entire Team Amrit.
We will cherish the sweet memories of our most respected
former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam when he was our chief guest for our Golden Jubilee celebration on 06-09-2013 and it was truly a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Amrit Special Centre when he spent his valuable time with us.
The Management , Principal, Staff, our Special children and Parents are grieved by the sudden loss of this great academician, scientist and above all a very loving and affectionate human being.
We pray for his soul to Rest in Peace.

Our students participated in the Sports Meet 2015 organized by Aum Yoga Therapy Trust in association with Auto Shell Industries and Saarathy Pammac at BVM Global School - Karpagam Campus. They participated in several events such as running, fast walking, soft ball throw, and lemon & spoon. They had won about 11 prizes in total. We are proud of our children. Well Done!!

Prayer meeting held on 29th Jan 2015
Our respectful homage to our dear founder member, Tmt. Amirtham Varadaraj.
Children, parents, staff, committee members and well wishers attended the prayer meeting held at Amrit Centre for Special Needs. The solemn function saw moments of Amirtham amma's life come alive with personal experiences shared by many present, and ended with a pledge to carry forward the vision and mission of amma to reach out to the differently abled with commitment and sincerity for the years to come.

An eye camp was conducted for our children on the 19th December 2014. This was organised by SLR Lens in association with Aravind Eye Hospital.

Our children obseved two minute silence during the Pakistan massacre. This was held on the 18th of December 2014

Police personnel clean school premises About 100 Armed Reserve policemen of the Coimbatore City Police cleaned the premises of Amrit Special Needs School, on the Mettupalayam Road, here on Sunday.

Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police M. Bakthavathsalam, Inspectors M. Ravichandran and C.Iyersamy and his team with 100 Armed Reserve policemen of the Coimbatore City Police cleaned the premises of Amrit Centre for Special Needs. A heartfelt thanks to the Commissioner of Police Mr.A.K.Vishwanathan IPS.

Our 1st Annual Sports Day held on 29th Nov 2014. This event was a major success and a very thanks too the Principal, all teachers, staffs and all our well wishers. Our children who without fail participated with full enthusiasm and joy. A special thanks to all our children.
