Dr.N.G.P. College of Education Inaugurated the 19th Batch of the B.Ed., Programme on 20th September, 2023.

On 10th July 2023, awareness programme on Cyber Security Drug and Social Media Addiction was held at Dr.N.G.P College of Education. Coimbatore city police personnel addressed the student teachers. Project ‘Police Akka’ was launched to create trust-based friendliness with the college girl students and save them from falling prey to cybercrimes or any other offences. Special Sub Inspector of Police, Ms. Dhanalakshmi, emphasized on an exclusive app MKavach to scrutinize our mobile applications and its malware. Thereafter, Head Constable ,Ms. Kiruthika highlighted the positive influence of books in student’s life. And also, how to be scrupulous in using mobiles phones for enhancement of knowledge and skills. The students were encouraged to clarify their doubts and misconceptions which they are encountering on daily basis. Eventually, they shared a few emergency contact numbers for any assistance especially at life threatening situations.

Dr.N.G.P College of Education celebrated the International Yoga Day on the theme “Yoga for Vaudhaiva Kutumbakam” on 21st June 2022.
The programme was coordinated by Mr.Praveen R. Asst.Prof. of English and Dr.Susatha S. Physical Director. Dr. K.R.Ramasamy, Principal of the college felicitated the gathering.
Sidhan Sri Esan Guruji, Founder of Ruthampara Arakattalai, Coimbatore was invited as the Chief Guest.

Dr.N.G.P.College of Education has organized a one day workshop on “Music unlocks self expression, intelligence and creativity” for the student teachers on 9th May 2023.
