Learning beyond classrooms!

The Civil and Mechanical Engineering Students of Jansons Institute of Technology had an incredible opportunity to interact with experts from GAIL (India) Limited and explore real-time natural gas pipeline construction at Karumathampatti, Coimbatore on 30.04.2026.

This initiative enhanced students' practical exposure, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world engineering practices.

JIT IIC in association with Jansons Create forum and JIT EDC cell organised a session on " Product Market Fit- Prototype / Process design and MVP development" for the JIT Tinkerpreneurs on 9.4.2026.
The resource person gave an engaging presentation and effectively communicated customer validation, market fit strategy, prototype development and MVP testing among the audience. The students actively participated in the activities and got enriched on the concepts. The session served a platform to ignite innovation and startup culture among the students.

JIT IIC and Department of AI&DS conducted "AI-Powered Solution Expo: Demo Day for AI Prototypes" on 6.4.2026. The students of AI&DS exhibited their AI based solutions to real world challenges. The juniors and the faculty members visited the expo and got deeper insights into the deep tech-based solutions.

Jansons Institute of Technology - Industry Institute Partnership Cell (JIT-IIPC) in association with JIT-IIC and JIT-IEEE SB hosted the exciting Innovation and Design Sprint on 11.04.2026, 9.30 AM.

The talented interns from the various Centre of Excellence showcased their creative solutions to the Industrial problems. The students demonstrated their innovative skills and the problem-solving ability to the experts from Industries. The exhibits were in niche fields like AR VR Technology, AI & Data Science, Cloud and Cybersecurity etc. The experts appreciated the efforts by the students and for their interest in solving real world problems.

JIT-IIPC in association with JIT-IEEE student branch and JIT-IIC conducted a bootcamp on "Digital Twin" on 11.03.2026, 10 am to 4 pm for the II and III-year students of all the streams.

The Industrial Visit to L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd. (LGB), Kovilpalayam Plant, was organized on March 18, 2026, as part of the Industry–Academia collaboration initiative. Around 30 Mechanical Engineering and 12 ECE students participated in the visit.

The visit provided valuable exposure to real-time industrial working environments, manufacturing practices, and career opportunities in the organization. Students gained practical insights into production processes and industry standards followed at LGB.

JIT IIC, in association with Tinkering Labs, successfully organized DemoDay’26 on April 6th and 7th, 2026. Students showcased their innovative prototypes, attracting visits from peers and mentors . The participants received valuable feedback and expert mentorship to further refine and elevate their innovations. The event inspired young minds to think boldly, solve real-world challenges, and shape the future through technology.

JIT IIC, in association with Jansons Create Forum, successfully organized Thiran 4.0, an intra-institutional business plan pitching competition, on the 24th and 25th of March 2026. The event served as a vibrant platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity and innovation.

Students enthusiastically presented their prototypes before a distinguished panel of judges, demonstrating their technical expertise and their creative spirit. Each prototype was thoughtfully evaluated based on originality, feasibility, and impact. The most outstanding innovation was ultimately recognized and honored, celebrating excellence and inspiring a culture of innovation within the institution.

Jansons Institute of Technology - Industry Institute Partnership Cell (JIT-IIPC) in association with JIT-IIC and JIT-IEEE SB organized "Industry Connect 3.0" on 11.04.2026 at Padmam Auditorium.

This flagship initiative brought together industry experts, co-founders, corporate leaders, innovators, and students to strengthen the academia–industry ecosystem and celebrate the achievements of our students who successfully completed their internships in our Centre of Excellences and other companies across diverse organizations.

🔹 Presentation on cutting-edge initiatives like JIT-ELGI DOJO by Mr. Gokul, Mr. Asif and Mr. Anand and Domore Labs by Dr. Somasundaram.

🔹 A panel on “Impact of Agentic AI and Digital Twin on Industry 5.0” moderated by Mr. Kavin Thangasamy, Senior Analyst, Netcon Technologies, Bengaluru featuring: Dr. Ragupathy Palaniswamy, Founder & CEO, Synecx AI Labs, CBE and Mr. R.S. Heyram, Backend Developer, Zoho Corp.

The discussion provided deep insights into:
