The Brand and Storytelling Workshop at SCID gave the design students of Year II and III a chance to explore how brands go beyond logos and visual identities. The sessions focused on understanding how storytelling helps shape a brand’s personality, values, and connection with its audience.

Through engaging discussions and practical insights, students reflected on how storytelling can shape audience perception and create deeper connections. The workshop provided an opportunity to understand how thoughtful narratives can transform a brand from being seen to being remembered.

As the founder of Shilpa Architects, Ar. Sheila Sri Prakash holds the historic distinction of being the first woman in the country to establish her own architectural practice, redefining leadership in the field. Whether contributing to global dialogues at the World Economic Forum or developing frameworks like the Reciprocal Design Index, her focus remains clear: to create spaces that give back as much as they take.

Beyond his projects, Ravi Sarangan is deeply committed to the growth of the profession. As a mentor and industry leader, he has consistently invested in nurturing the next generation, ensuring they are equipped to think boldly and build responsibly. As the founder of Eve Designs, Mr. Shaju Thomas has cultivated a signature language where elegance and practicality are not opposing forces, but deeply interdependent. His work reflects a keen sensitivity to materials, and an intuitive understanding of how light and shadow animate a space.

Through Eve Designs, Mr. Thomas continues to redefine contemporary interiors with a human-centered approach. Congratulations on winning the Stellar Achiever Award in the Interior Design category.

Rajesh is a Global GCC and product leader with extensive experience in building and scaling multi-location teams, leading strategic programs, and driving design-led digital transformation. He has worked across industries including technology, BFSI, geospatial, consulting, and e-learning, bringing strong expertise in techno-functional leadership, SaaS, AI/ML, and digital platforms.

With a focus on strategic planning, stakeholder management, and organisational growth, he also brings deep experience in enterprise risk, compliance, and governance—ensuring robust frameworks that support sustainable and secure innovation.

With over 25 years of experience as a Creative/Design Director, Architect, Painter, and Photographer, he specialises in translating complex ideas into impactful visual stories across print, digital, motion, interaction, and AR/VR platforms. His work focuses on balancing aesthetics, simplicity, and strategic impact while using emerging technologies to create meaningful narratives.

A strong advocate for audience-centred and data-driven design, he has also led and mentored high-performing creative teams, streamlining processes and nurturing the next generation of design leaders while consistently delivering award-winning projects.

Vaibhav Kumaresh is an International Emmy–nominated animation filmmaker and Founder & Creative Director of Vaibhav Studios, established in 2003. The studio has created some of India’s most recognisable animated content, including campaigns like the Amaron Battery ads, Chulbuli for Clinic Plus, Buladi’s AIDS awareness campaign for the West Bengal government, and the Vodafone Zumis.

With a vision to strengthen India’s indigenous animation industry, the studio has self-funded its first Hindi animated feature film, Return of the Jungle, scheduled for a theatrical release in India in summer 2026. A Fine Arts graduate, Vaibhav studied animation filmmaking at National Institute of Design and continues to contribute to the field as a visiting faculty at design and animation schools across India.
