usiness School National Survey" which was done recently rated PSGIM 20th among the top b-schools in the country. The survey was done in the year 2012 jointly by The Week Magazine and MaRS. We are proud yet humble enough to say that PSGIM is one of the founder members of Association of Brics Business Schools (ABBS). ABBS seeks to promote cooperation and exchange among business schools of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa which are the member countries. We have signed MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with many international universities. For instance, PSG Institution signed Memorandum of Understanding with San Diego State University’s Center for International Business Education and Research (SDSU CIBER) for faculty and student exchange program. PSGIM in association with SDSU offer India Study Aboard program for the students of San Diego State University. We have also signed Memorandum of Understanding with University of TOLEDO, College of Business and Innovation (COBI) and with University of Applied Sciences, Hof, Germany for the student and faculty exchange and joint research program. Teaching at PSGIM is extensively case and practice based enabling students to prepare themselves for the real world business challenges. Our case based teaching gives students the confidence, skills and essential knowledge to deal with business challenges head on. A focus on a purely application based curriculum sets PSG IM apart from other business schools. The institute’s teaching methodology is designed to make the students industry-ready, and is customized to suit the conditions prevailing in the industry. We have an MOU with Harvard Publishing to use all Harvard cases for teaching. We also pay special attention to holistic development of students. To prepare students to take on business challenges head-on, our team of faculty member’s uses variety of impactful teaching methods such as case studies, internships, lectures from eminent personalities, summer projects, and activity based learning. What really sets us apart is our case based teaching. The campus is well-connected with Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art computer center, well equipped class rooms and learning resource center with a huge collection of online and off line learning resources such as books, Journals, Magazines and news dailies. PSGIM, in association with PSG Care, organized a one-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Outcome-Based Education For Management Faculty From Design To Assessment,” on May 4, 2026. Dr Tejaswi Patil, Assistant Professor, B. M. S. College of Engineering, served as the resource person.

The session advanced participants’ understanding of outcome-oriented academic frameworks, empowering them to align teaching, assessment, and curriculum design with evolving accreditation standards.

PSG Institute of Management hosted its Commencement Programme for the Class of 2026 on April 30, 2026.

Gracing the occasion, Chief Guest, Shri Ravichandran Purushothaman, Chairman, CII Southern Region and President, Danfoss India, shared insights from his professional experience, encouraging the graduates to cultivate curiosity as their 'meta skill', take risks and look at the north star.

The programme was presided over by Shri L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities, and Dr. V. Srividya, Director, PSG Institute of Management, welcomed the gathering.

The event was also graced by international academic partners, including Dr. Ozcan Sezer, University of Toledo, USA, and Dr. Hassan R. HassabElnaby, Dean, Haile/US Bank College of Business, Northern Kentucky University, USA.
