A school that teaches learning is not the same as a school that learns.
Step into RAKS- a school that learns. Relentlessly.
At RAKS, even vacations spark growth—
mentors become learners, and learning becomes limitless.
Step into their journey.
Moments. Reflections. Reinvention.
A powerful showcase of teaching–learning in action by RAKS mentors.

Harshina’s RHAPSODY talk on Positive attitude , this Grade 5 learner voices her ideas and mind on something she believes in ..
Are we preparing children for life—or protecting them from it?
Let them hear “no.”
Discomfort and challenges are essential experiences in life.
Challenges build resilience.
Prepare them for life.
At RAKS, guided by Ms. Swetha Krishnamurthy’s vision, we believe growth happens when children are trusted with real experiences—not protected from them.
Honoured to engage with Aarti C. Rajaratnam—an intuitive, empathetic psychologist, educator, and global speaker whose work in creative education and child development has touched thousands of learners and families. Her voice reinforces what we deeply stand for:
Resilience is not taught—it is lived.
Thrive With Purpose.
*From darkness to connection- From SOIL TO SOUL—this was the quiet, powerful journey of our RAKS Artathon.*
In the hands of our kindergarten learners, charcoal became more than a medium. It became a voice. With every stroke—smudged, bold, tentative, or sure—children explored feeling, memory, and imagination.
Rooted in the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, this experience honoured the child as capable, expressive, and deeply connected to their world.
Charcoal, with its raw, tactile nature, invited learners to embrace contrast—light and dark, presence and pause. Marks on paper slowly became shared stories, evolving through dialogue, observation, and reflection.
RAKS Artathon is not about outcomes, but about process. About creating spaces where children feel seen, heard, and connected—to themselves, to others, and to their environment - our own way of expressing gratitude to things around us!
Because in every line drawn, every hand extended, art becomes a bridge—from expression to belonging.

From everyday problems to meaningful possibilities.
A trash compactor.
An art supplies organiser.
A garden hose organiser.
Even the mystery of optical illusions.
At RAKS D&T, these aren’t just ideas — they are starting points.
Learners step into real-world needs, think critically, and move through a powerful journey:
We prototype.
We design.
We define the future.
Because at RAKS, Design & Technology is not about making things —
it’s about solving, creating, and shaping a better tomorrow.

It’s called the Senator Bootcamp — and it’s more than MUN.
RAKS Institutions × Ashwa Education created a space where learners didn’t just prepare for a committee — they prepared for life.
They didn’t memorise speeches.
They built arguments.
They didn’t wait to be called.
They learned to show up.
Speaker. Thinker. Senator.
One experience. Real transformation.
Because the skills that win MUNs are the skills that win at life —
thinking fast, speaking clearly, and leading with purpose.
Facilitated by Sidhaanth Dharmadheeran, learners stepped beyond comfort and into confidence — where ideas are tested and voices are shaped.

What a welcoming year of 2025 it has been , to experience the IGCSE results of our 24/25 IGCSE cohort ! Our founding batches of learners who have grown the Raks Way since Grade 3, (hand on minds on, PBL, SLC ) involving the 3 Rs of RITUALS, ROUTINES, RHYTHMS along with factoring in the 3Ps, of PEOPLE, PLACE and PURPOSE. A big shout out to our PEOPLE - enablers “Our Mentors” who have made sure every learners need has been factored in through additional classes as we have a policy of “No tuitions” and shouldering the academic responsibility of our learners. Congratulations Parents & Learners.

Our “RITUALS”…Enabling authentic festive experience - the RaK's way!!
RaK's Pallikkoodam came alive with the joy and vibrancy of Pongal, a festival that symbolises gratitude, peace, harmony, and cultural belonging. Enabling an authentic festive experience is at the heart of our rituals, fostering connections to our rich traditions while promoting unity and togetherness among our learners.
Early years and K-2 tried their hands on pot painting, kite making and dressed up for the Pongal celebrations witnessing the Pongal making and thanks giving to the sun god ..
While Grades 3-5 embraced the essence of renewal through the Bogi celebration, bringing bundles of old clothes for the traditional bonfire, symbolising a fresh start and letting go of the past.
Grades 6-8 poured their creativity into the kolam competition, adorning the campus with intricate, colourful patterns that reflected teamwork and cultural pride.
Grades 9-12 showcased their culinary talents and collaborative spirit in an inter house Pongal making contest, preparing sweet pongal that blended the flavours of tradition and togetherness.
Through these meaningful activities, our learners experienced the beauty of cultural belonging and the harmony that comes from celebrating traditions together. Pongal at RaK’s was more than a celebration – it was a testament to RaK's rituals- shared values and the joy of being part of a vibrant community.
The social media post:RaK’s Learners Shine at the Harvard Undergraduate Science OlympiadOur learners embarked on an inspiring journey to qualify for HUSO India 2024, starting with an online exam that spanned Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science. After rigorous preparation involving research, note-making, and thoughtful discussions, 2 out of the 42 learners who applied advanced to the in-person exam and STEM bootcamp in New Delhi, where they honed their interdisciplinary knowledge and problem-solving skills.Held from January 6th to 10th, 2025, the Harvard Undergraduate Science Olympiad in Gurugram was much more than an exam—it was a celebration of scientific curiosity and experiential learning. From tackling challenging subjects like Biology, Math, and Chemistry to hands-on workshops like extracting strawberry DNA and building electric pianos, our learners’ inquisitiveness and passion for science soared beyond the classroom. The week culminated in a joyous celebration, leaving our learners not only with newfound knowledge but with the resilience to tackle any challenge. This is WHY we do WHAT we do at RaK’s: to offer learners a global stage that sparks creativity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love for learning. We couldn’t be prouder of how our learners embraced every opportunity with open hearts and minds. Here’s to the next adventure!
