Celebrating a Golden Jubilee for an educational institution must include at least three key BROAD-BASED AGENDA:

Whilst we CELEBRATE, we also must focus on events which reflect our
A. Acknowledgement
B. Attainment and
C. Commitment to our stakeholders. The chosen theme, Sustain-Transform-Transcend should reflect these three facets. What does the theme itself reflect? Since the only constancy in

life is change and as we have now entered an era of rapid changes, the imperatives and non-negotiable facets are the following:

SUSTAINMENT

a. The core values are essential for us to weather the changes. It is the guiding spirit of out endeavor- our conscience- we need to sustain it and nurture it. Whilst we will compete, we will do so in light of this. Our mission demands that we become a lead school in India. It is an imperative. We are thus bound to pursue excellence and indeed keep the tempo going. This drive has to be sustained. The unwritten mandate of the mission and vision is that of relationships. Be it global outlook, industry readiness, raising the bar-- any element can be nurtured mainly by, developing, nurturing and sustaining the valuable relationships we have built. TRANSFORMATION

Only constancy in life is change and as we have now entered an era of rapid change. Reflecting on our mission and vision, we are as trustees of the Brand, charged with empowering our student stakeholders with global outlook and industry readiness and must endeavor to raise the bar in management education and innovate. In this context, institutional agility is a sin-qua-non and we engage is a proactive transformation not a reactive one- we transform the process, we review and preview all what we do and ensure currency and enabled value to our stakeholders. The changes may be cosmetic, functional, asset based at on level, true transformation will be in the arena of instructions, professional development and research and changing to meet stakeholders needs – change for the sake of agility and enhancing values , not for the sake of change. TRANSCENDENCE
The state of excelling or surpassing or going beyond usual limits

The logical step is how we build on what we have sustained and after our transformation. Our commitment is simple. Our vision does not say how high the bar is what it should be and rightly so since it confirms excellence is a journey and not a destination. Henry Ford's remark is the gold standard for us: Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.”

Whilst we will observe and learn best practices, we will ensure that what we implement is a right one for us. We will acknowledge success and failure with equanimity and we will create a road map for the journey to continue. We will introspect, consult, collaborate, innovate for unique solutions and create strengths and competencies to foster our mission and values for the next 50 years

PSGIM invites its alumni for the "Beacon 2015 - Alumni Interface Event" planned in Bangalore and Chennai. We would be delighted and honored to have you with us. PSG Institute of Management invites you to the “Alumni –Student Mentoring Programme” a collaborative initiative taken between the PSG Management Alumni Association (PSGMAA) and the PSG Institute of Management, which will connect 120 fresh MBA students with PSG alumni who are established professionals and entrepreneurs on the 11th September 2015 at 6.00pm at PSGIM, Convention Hall.
This initiative is unique and is first of its kind two year long formal Alumni student mentoring programme in the country
