தேசிய விவசாயிகள் தினம் (National Farmers Day):-
* இந்தியாவின் முதுகெலும்பு விவசாயம். உண்மைதான். இன்றும் இந்தியாவின் மக்கள்தொகையில் 60 சதவிகிதத்துக்கு மேலானோர் விவசாயம் சார்ந்த தொழில்களில் ஈடுப்பட்டு வருகின்றனர்.
* ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் டிசம்பர் 23-ம் தேதி 'தேசிய விவசாயிகள் தினமாக அல்லது ' கிசான் திவாஸ் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. முன்னாள் பிரதமர் சரண் சிங்கின் பிறந்த நாளே கடந்த 15 ஆண்டுகளாக விவசாயிகள் தினமாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
*ஜமீன்தாரி முறை ஒழிப்பு', 'கூட்டுறவு பண்ணை முறை', 'இந்தியாவில் வறுமை ஒழிப்பும் அதற்கான தீர்வும்', 'வேலை செய்பவர்களுக்கு நிலம்' உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு நூல்களை எழுதியவர்.
* டெல்லியில் உள்ள அவரது நினைவிடத்துக்கு 'கிசான் காட்' (விவசாயிகளின் நுழைவாயில்) என பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

விவசாயிகள் தினமாக கொண்டாடப்படுவதற்கு காரணம்:-
* ஜமீன்தாரி ஒழிப்புமுறை சட்டத்தை கொண்டு வந்தார்
* வேளாண் விளைபொருள் சந்தை மசோதாவையும் அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார்..

National Mathematics Day (NMD):-
* December 22 is celebrated as National Mathematics Day (NMD) every year. This date marks the birth anniversary of legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. Mathematics is a part of our everyday lives and celebrating this day makes it even more special.
* Ramanujan, one of the greatest Indian mathematicians of all time, is known for his work in the areas of Riemann series, hypergeometric series, elliptic integrals, continued fractions, and functional equations of the zeta function.
