VIMS Community Club organized an Awareness Program on “Creating Socially Responsible Leaders” on November 13, 2025, at the VIMS campus. The resource person was Mr. Sakthivel M, Talent Quest for India – Volunteer and Design Engineer, Banaraswala Wire Mesh Pvt. Ltd., who inspired students to take up social responsibility as an integral part of leadership. The program helped students understand the concept of social responsibility, the importance of ethics and empathy in leadership, and how volunteerism can contribute to sustainable community development. Participants also learned how leaders can balance organizational goals with social impact while promoting inclusiveness and community well-being.
