I'm Gem of Immaculate Since its inception the school has been doing a commendable service to the society in this part of the country for the past 35 years.
Immaculate Heart of Mary’s Matriculation school was founded by the congregation of the Franciscan sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pondichery with the motto of Love, Knowledge and Truth, in the year 1977. When the school was born it was with few students. But now it has grown up and has 1206 students, 40 enthusiastic Teaching staff and 15 Non teaching staff. The school has two blocks. The
Main block takes care of the students from 6th standard to 12th std. This block has a big office with dedicated staff. Apart from this, the block is decorated with a library and four laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Nursing. Also it has a fully equipped computer lab with 40 computers to meet the needs of the students. The school has another block called “St. Francis block” which takes care of the students from K.G to 5 th standard. This block too has a computer lab to supply the needs of the pupil. The school got a van and a bus also a water tank. The Co-curricular activities are integral part of every student. So the school has arranged a dance teacher, Yoga teacher, Karate master, Drawing master and a band master. Further more we have literary club and science club to prove their abilities. The school has a big ground to conduct all its sports activities. The school has a very well furnished hostel for girls which can accommodate 200 students. As we all know English plays a vital role in today’s world. Proficiency in English language is a must to every student to compete in a highly competitive world. So to improve the communicative skill in the global language the management has appointed “ENGLISH FOR ALL (EFA)”. Coimbatore, Specialist in Communicative English. To give a Modern education to the students the school has appointed “SMART CLASS” specialist in Modern Education from Bangalore. Now the school is 35 years young and energetic. The school sincerely thanks The Lord Almighty for His blessings through out these years.
