The Tamil Nadu government has announced the recruitment of 2,708 assistant professors in government arts and science colleges across the state.
This move aims to bridge the long-standing faculty gap in many degree colleges, especially in rural areas.
The recruitment will be done through the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB).
