Happy to have been invited as a speaker at PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, for a session on Exploring the Global Music Industry for Entrepreneurship & Employability Opportunities, organized by the Department of Carnatic Music in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council.

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is a national initiative supported by the Ministry of Education Innovation Cell under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, encouraging students to explore innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented career opportunities.

It was inspiring to interact with the students, and I was especially happy to see their strong curiosity about Western music, international certification systems, and global career pathways in the music industry.

My sincere thanks to Dr. S. Vijeyajaya mam, Head of the Department of Carnatic Music, for the kind invitation and support in organizing this meaningful session.

I also thank the faculty coordinators and students for their warm welcome and engaging interaction.

It was a great experience meeting the founder, Norton York, and being part of such an inspiring milestone event. Celebrating 35 years of RSL’s contribution to music education is something special.

Our student Vaibhav Natarajan performed internationally at the prestigious Fusion of Strings & Soul concert hosted by University of Guyana USA.

He delivered a beautiful rendition of “Kiss by a Rose” with Axis22 Band — sharing the stage with renowned musicians, vocalists, and instrumentalists from across faculties and cultures.

Grateful beyond words for today’s inspiring experience at the Vision 2030 District-Level Consultation Event, conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the Coimbatore District Administration 🙏

It felt extra special attending as an alumni of the Government Music College, Coimbatore — coming back to the place that shaped my musical journey and now contributing to its future. 🎶

We had powerful discussions on the growth, vision, and dream development of the college — where it started, where it stands, and where it can reach next.

I was happy to share some valuable points on introducing Western music training for Carnatic students, helping them become more versatile and industry-ready. Really hoping this brings positive change.

A huge heartfelt thanks to Principal Mr. Vijayaraghavan Sir — such a positive, futuristic leader. The college is truly in the right hands.
