RVS College of Nursing is organizing a webinar on “Midwives at the Forefront of Crisis Response and Resilience” on 5th May 2026. This academic session aims to highlight the critical role of midwives in ensuring maternal and neonatal care during emergencies and challenging healthcare scenarios. The session will be delivered by Dr. Hatlim Sugi M, Professor, Department of OBG, PPG College of Nursing, Coimbatore, who will share valuable insights on resilience, preparedness, and frontline response in midwifery practice. The webinar provides a platform for students and healthcare professionals to enhance their knowledge and strengthen their clinical perspectives in crisis management.

The seminar on “Lactation Management,” organized by RVS College of Nursing, was successfully conducted at the Kalpavriksha Auditorium. The session was delivered by Mrs. Anbarasi D, a certified Lactation Consultant, who provided valuable insights into breastfeeding practices, maternal and infant nutrition, and effective lactation support in clinical settings. The programme enriched students’ understanding of essential maternal care practices and strengthened their clinical knowledge in promoting optimal health outcomes for mothers and infants.
