The use of High-Strength Concrete for multi-story building construction has become very common in developing countries. The increasing trend in the use of this construction material can be assessed by its outstanding engineering properties such as higher compressive and tensile strengths, higher stiffness and better durability. The various ingredients such as fly ash, slag and silica fume which are mostly industrial by-products make the high strength concrete sustainable and environmentally friendly.
