ASBM’s Retail Immersion Program 2026 at Prozone Mall

Adithya School of Business Management Coimbatore (ASBM) proudly organised an industry-focused retail visit for our I MBA students to Prozone Mall, Coimbatore on 10 September 2026, where they explored a wide range of branded and organised retail businesses. Students engaged in hands-on observation across multiple sectors, including electronics, home appliances, fashion, F&B, and sports retail, gaining valuable insights into consumer behaviour, store operations, merchandising, and modern retail formats.

We extend our gratitude to Mr. Bringston, Marketing Director of Prozone, for his interactive session and industry insights that enriched the learning experience. The visit was coordinated by Dr.Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Professor & Director, and Mr R Lakshmikanth, Assistant Professor, who ensured meaningful engagement throughout the programme.

This experiential learning initiative reinforces ASBM’s commitment to bridging classroom knowledge with real-world business practices.

LABOUR FOUR CODES – THE NEW RULES OF WORK | Faculty & Management Development Programme | 24–28 August 2026

Adithya School of Business Management Coimbatore, successfully organised a five-day Faculty & Management Development Programme on “LABOUR FOUR CODES – The New Rules of Work” from 24 to 28 August 2026, providing valuable insights into India’s Labour Codes, emerging employment practices, changing workplace regulations and their implications for organisations, employees and future business leaders. The programme was designed around the philosophy “To Learn • To Teach • To Practice” and covered the Four Labour Codes — the Industrial Relations Code, Code on Social Security, Occupational Safety, Health & Working Conditions Code, and Code on Wages.

The programme featured eminent resource persons — Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Soundara Pandian, Dr. C. Muthuvelayutham, Mr. R. Balakrishnan and Mr. C. Ram — who enriched the sessions with their expertise and practical perspectives. The final day focused on case workouts and self-directed learning, enabling participants to apply their learning to practical workplace situations. With the valuable support and encouragement of Er. C. Sukumaran, Chairman; Mr. S. Praveen Kumar, Managing Trustee; and Dr. Srinidhi Praveen Kumar, Managing Trustee, the programme was facilitated by Dr. Dr.Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Professor & Director, and Dr. P. Vikkraman, Professor & Director for Research.

We sincerely appreciate the active participation and commitment of faculty members from various institutions, industry delegates, students and management professionals, with more than 340 participants joining through both online and physical modes. Their enthusiastic participation contributed to making the programme a meaningful platform for professional learning, knowledge sharing and practical application. ASBM Industry–Academia Conclave 2026 | Day 2 – IIT Madras

From learning about the future of business to experiencing one of India’s leading academic and innovation ecosystems.

The second day (18 August 2026) of the ASBM Industry–Academia Conclave 2026 – “Global Strategic Leadership through Automation and Innovation” took our MBA students to the prestigious IIT Madras. The event was graciously granted by the Chairman, Er.C.Sukumaran, Managing Trustees, Mr S Praveen Kumar and Dr Srinidhi Praveen Kumar.

The day began with an enriching academic interaction with Prof. T. J. Kamalanabhan, Professor, Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, and his team.

The interaction gave our students an opportunity to engage with perspectives on management, leadership, innovation and the evolving business environment. But the learning continued beyond the classroom. The program was facilitated by Dr.Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Professor and Director, and Coordinated by Dr P Vikkraman, Professor and Director for Research along with Mr Lakshmikanth Raja and Mrs Krishnaveni Subramani, the faculty members of ASBM.

IIT Madras Library
Our students had the opportunity to visit and experience the impressive IIT Madras library and its academic resources, gaining first-hand exposure to the learning and research environment of a premier institution.

Heritage & Campus Life
The students explored the heritage spaces of IIT Madras and experienced the unique campus environment, architecture, green spaces and vibrant student life that make the institution distinctive.
For many students, walking through the IIT Madras campus was itself an inspiring experience, seeing how education, research, innovation and entrepreneurship come together in one ecosystem.
The two-day journey from Pondicherry University to IIT Madras gave our students much more than academic exposure. It encouraged them to observe, question, connect and imagine what is possible beyond the classroom.

At ASBM, we continue to believe that “Experience the Corporate Life” means creating opportunities for students to experience real institutions, real ecosystems and real learning.

A memorable second day of academic interaction, exploration, heritage and inspiration.
