Absolute zero, technically known as zero kelvins, equals −273.15 degrees Celsius, or -459.67 Fahrenheit, and marks the spot on the thermometer where a system reaches its lowest possible energy, or thermal motion.

There’s a catch, though: absolute zero is impossible to reach. The reason has to do with the amount of work necessary to remove heat from a substance, which increases substantially the colder you try to go. To reach zero kelvins, you would require an infinite amount of work. And even if you could get there, quantum mechanics dictates that the atoms and molecules would still have some irreducible motion.

Quantum mechanics also means that the closer these researchers creep toward absolute zero, the weirder a substance’s properties become. At low enough temperatures, liquid helium, for example, morphs into a superfluid—a liquid that flows without the resistance of friction.

would be eligible for the Award. Any Indian national or institution or organization based in India may nominate an individual or institution or organization for consideration for this Award. Individuals/institutions/organizations may also nominate themselves. State Governments, Union Territory Administrations and Ministries of the Government of India may also send nominations for the award.

Inceptisols are soils that exhibit minimal horizon development. They are more developed than Entisols, but still lack the features that are characteristic of other soil orders. Although not found under aridic climate regimes, They are often found on fairly steep slopes, young geomorphic surfaces and on resistant parent materials. Land use varies considerably with Inceptisols. A sizable percentage of Inceptisols are found in mountainous areas and are used for forestry, recreation and watershed.
Inceptisols are divided into six suborders: Aquepts, Gelepts, Cryepts, Ustepts, Xerepts and Udepts.
Inceptisols occupy an estimated 15 percent of the global ice-free land area .

The Kyoto Protocol was an international treaty  which extended the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) that commits state parties to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, based on the scientific consensus that (part one) global warming is occurring and (part two) that human-made CO2 emissions are driving it. The Kyoto Protocol was adopted in Kyoto, Japan, on 11 December 1997 and entered into force on 16 February 2005. There were 192 parties  to the Protocol in 2020.

Proxima Centauri is a red dwarf star with a mass about 12.5% of the Sun's mass (M☉), and average density about 33 times that of the Sun.Proxima Centauri has two exoplanets proxima centauri b and Proxima Centauri c.

On July 8 2017 Joyita Mandal became the first transgender judge of a Lok Adalat from West Bengal, India. She attended office as a judge of a Lok Adalat at Islampur in North Dinajpur where her first cases involved recovery of loans made by banks. She is also the first transgender person in Uttar Dinajpur to get a voter ID.
