Joining hands for a greener tomorrow, the Interact Club of Vivekam celebrated World Environment Day with enthusiasm, awareness, and meaningful action. π±π
The day began with a Special Assembly, where students participated in an engaging Eco Quiz and took an Environmental Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to protecting nature and adopting eco-friendly practices. πβ¨
Our Interactors conducted an awareness session titled "Mr. Plastic is Not Fantastic" for the junior students, highlighting the harmful effects of plastic pollution and encouraging sustainable alternatives. π«ποΈπΏ
A special highlight of the celebration was the E-Waste Collection Drive, where students actively brought old and unused electronic items such as chargers, cables, earphones, batteries, keyboards, and other electronic waste from their homes.
π±ππ» This initiative helped create awareness about responsible e-waste disposal and the importance of recycling electronic materials safely. β»οΈ
Through these activities, our students learned that every small step counts in preserving the environment and building a sustainable future. Together, we continue to inspire change, spread awareness, and act responsibly for the well-being of our planet. ππ
