PSG iTech celebrated its 11th Annual Day "DAKSHA 2026" on 14th May 2026. The event featured the Annual Day Report by Dr. N. Saravanakumar, Principal, PSG iTech, and inspiring addresses by Dr. P. V. Mohanram, Secretary, PSG iTech, and the Chief Guest, Mr. V. Krishna Kumar, Vice President, Aquasub Engineering, Coimbatore.

Outstanding students were honored with awards for their achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. The prestigious PSG Venkataswamy Naidu Memorial Awards were also presented to the Best Outgoing Students of the 2022–2026 batch, making DAKSHA 2026 a memorable celebration of excellence and achievement.

The Eighth Graduation Day Ceremony of PSG iTech was celebrated with grandeur and pride on 8th May 2026 at the PSG Convention Center. Mr. Toshiyuki Suzuki, President & CEO, FANUC India Private Limited, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Shri L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities, presided over the event.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of our graduates, celebrating their hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments as they step into a future filled with opportunities and success.

The 3rd Edition of iTech Ideathon 2026 concluded successfully with its Grand Finale held on 29th and 30th April 2026. A total of 47 teams presented innovative prototypes aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Evaluated by a distinguished industry jury members, the Ideathon showcased sustainability-driven and scalable innovations.

The PSG iTech Alumni Association organized the Alumni Induction Programme for the Batch of 2022–2026 on 30th April 2026. The event was presided over by Dr. N. Saravanakumar, Principal, PSG iTech, and brought together faculty, alumni representatives, and students to formally welcome the graduating batch into the esteemed alumni community.

The programme featured a welcome address, presidential address, alumni chapter activities, special addresses by Deans and HoDs, and the presentation of Best Project Awards. The session also included insightful interactions with alumni, fostering a sense of belonging and a lifelong connection with the institution.

On the occasion of World Earth Day, observed on 22 April 2026, the Eco Club of PSG iTech organized a tree plantation drive at Kurumbapalayam village in Sulur. The initiative highlights the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living, encouraging students to contribute actively toward a greener future.

PSG Collaborations

A PSG delegation recently visited the Lemelson-MIT Program team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on 13 April 2026.

The delegation engaged in an insightful interaction with Ms Stephanie Couch, Executive Director, and her team, including Ms Brenda Burke-Lyons, Finance and Grants Administrator; Mr Sam Estabrooks, Learning Management Specialist; Ms Leigh Estabrooks, Invention Education Officer; Mr Edwin Marrero, Invention Education Manager; and Mr Brian Lombardo, Communication Administrator.

PSG Collaborations

Continuing its global outreach, the PSG delegation visited Harvard Innovation Labs, USA, on 13 April 2026.

Exploring its innovation ecosystem, the delegation interacted with Ms Cassie Coravos, Assistant Director, Events & Operations at Harvard Innovation Labs, and Mr Ujjwal Kumar, CEO, Quantum Alliance. The discussions centred on potential avenues for academic collaboration.
