Dr. Ram Subramaniam shared valuable insights on AI-driven career growth. The session emphasized continuous learning, adaptability, and strategic career planning in a technology-driven world.

The Department successfully organized a seminar on “AI in Analytics”, featuring Dr. U. Dinesh Kumar, Director I/C, IIM Bangalore, Coimbatore, as the resource person. The session provided valuable insights into how Artificial Intelligence is transforming data analytics and decision-making processes across industries, Participants learned how analytical thinking, AI tools, and continuous upskilling help them stay relevant in the digital world.

The Department of Computer Science, Dr.GRDCS along with Google Developers Group (GDG) successfully hosted Google Cloud Community Days 2025 – Coimbatore!
It was an inspiring day filled with Keynotes, Tech Sessions, Hands-on Workshops, and Networking that brought together students, professionals, and cloud enthusiasts.

To empower students with hands-on experience in emerging technologies, GRD Developers Club- Department of Computer Science, Dr. GRD College has conducted a workshop on DHCP & Wireless Networking using Packet Tracer.

The Department of Computer Science at Dr. G. R. Damodaran College of Science Organized a Hackathon as part of the WikiForAll Educational Training Programme, which focuses on teaching students about Wikimedia’s technical platforms. The event led by Mrs. K. Bhuvana Meenakshi, Founder of Women In Tech Collectives and WikiForAll Project Manager, along with Mr. Ranjith Siji, Senior Developer, Wikimedian of Kerala, and Lead Trainer for WikiForAll.

The "Vibe Coding Summit" is organized by Dr. G. R. D College of Science in collaboration with CSI. The summit hands-on showcased technologies like front-end tools (Cursor, Replit), back-end solutions (Supabase), deployment platforms (Vercel), workflow automation (n8n, Make), and AI assistants (Claude, OpenAI models).

An Anti-Ragging Awareness Orientation Program for first-year students was held on August 14th, 2024, featuring presentations, interactive sessions, a short movie, and discussions to foster a ragging-free environment.
