The Valedictory session was chaired by chief Guest Smt. Sripriya Gowrisankar, CEO, Best Engineering Pumps Pvt. Ltd. Coach. Dr. S. Franklin John, Director, CMS Institute of Management Studies and Sri G.Balasubramaniam, Company Secretary, ROOTS Multi Clean ltd. who graced the Valedictory event and shared their thought.
The winners and runners of various events were awarded and all the participants were encouraged for their active participation.
The other dignitaries of Valedictory session were Chairman Mr. Ashok Kumar, Directors, Dr.Narayanan, Dr.Chockalingam and Mr. Karthikeyan, Ar. Karunambika Kumar, Director, School of Architecture, Dr. Hemanalini, Principal, TIPS College of Art and Science, Ar. Sushma Jeyakumar, Principal, School of Architecture Ar. Fun and challenging games was a part of the design fest. The games also focused in bringing the inner talents of the students and exhibiting them in a major platform. Games organised were

To achieve a breakthrough in the level of confidence and to tap the unexplored talents in individual participants as well as teams, Participants as a team, underwent a series of obstacles that were arranged in the field and they had to simultaneously achieve the objectives given to them. Prior to the activity, each team was given clear instructions and briefing. The team of participants had to strategize and optimally execute the activity with given resources and constraints. This motivated them to achieve a better level of confidence and explore new possibilities and exhibit following skill sets such as
• Team building
• Critical thinking
• Strategic decision making
• Optimal utilization of resources
• Time management
• Goal setting
• Perseverance
• Interpersonal communication

An follow up activity of the tensile workshop was carried out by Ar. Arun Swaminathan named "Under the trees". The students who took part in the workshop grouped themselves to compete by constructing life size tensile structures with the materials provided. The competition was sportively carried out by every participants and came up with interesting installations.

TENSILE STRUCTURE WORKSHOP AR.ARUN SWAMINATHAN
Ar. Arun Swaminathan gave a very interesting introduction to structures as well as tensile design. He had the students guessing what would come next. Later the students worked in small groups to create beautiful structures using wine and knitwear materials.

Ar. Vignesh Premkumar conducted Planometry workshop and the students took part in the one day workshop and came out with interesting observations of the college campus and compiled them within the time frame using software.
Great participation and involvement was seen in the aspiring architects.

The 21st Century Man has everything within his fist. Technical feasibility has made him challenge his creative mind and bring out innovation in every possible field. The young designers are visualizing their world through various digital media. Having this in mind, a workshop was conducted by Mr. Ashly Fabin on making 'Stop Motion Films'.
The workshop focussed on the basics of how innovatively an inanimate object can be brought to life through simple frames of photos and editing. The students were given an overview of the screenplay, voice over, recording and editing so as to execute an animated story. The students challenged themselves in a competition conducted after the workshop in displaying their creative mind though stop motion videos shot by them.

Bijoy Ramachandran of Hundred Hands, Bangalore led us through a fascinating journey of Architecture & the Senses.
Using diverse examples from Art, Architecture, Books & his own works he kept the students engaged while he revealed his own journey through the world of design.
The audience got a glimpse of beautiful presentations of architectural drawings, artworks & models.
It was a very inspiring experience for both students & faculty members.
