Established in the year 2001, It is located in a Healthy Picturesque area extending over 31 acres on the Ramapuram Beach Road adjoining Chirala town on the Chennai - Vijayawada railway line. CEC is the first Engineering College in the Prakasam District to achieve the ISO 9001 : 2000 Certification. Having approved by AICTE, New Delhi, It is affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad. CEC has been selected as Jawahar Knowledge Center by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
