“Parenting is not an easy job; it requires patience, care and discipline”
“Child” is the dream of every parent. Being a parent is easy, but ‘parenting’ your kids is really a tough job all together. Being a parent can be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences of your life, but that doesn't mean it's easy. No matter what age your child or children are, your work is never done. To be a
good parent, you need to know how to make your children feel valued and loved, while teaching them the difference between right and wrong. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to create a nurturing environment where your children feel like they can thrive and develop into confident, independent, and caring adults. Today almost every parent is facing one or the other problem related to their child as either Psychological, Emotional, Cognitive or Behavioral problems such as Depression, Stress, Anger, anxiety, lack of self-confidence, eating problems, abuse issues, Tensions, Disappointments, Frustrations, Failure, Devastation, Nervousness, Loneliness, Miserable, Helplessness, Disgust, Emptiness, Family Disputes , Parenting Problems, Adjustment Problem, Failure in Career, Child and parental conflicts, Adolescent problems, Teenagers handling problems for parents & teachers, Suicidal thoughts etc. Now a days either kids are over aggressive, or they are very introvert. Some are having lack of concentration or some are having phobia about certain things whereas some are slow learners. Some are confused about the carrier selection or some are multitasking and interested in various extra-curricular activities etc. There are various reasons for these kinds of issues such as now a day’s children get expose to various medias, they had become tech-savy, ample amount of information resources are just away from a click, both parents are working, the family structure has changed from joint family to nuclear family and so on The list is unending. Therefore at SANGOPAN being a Child and Parent counselor I seek to understand what constitutes normal brain function and behavior. I also look for ways to help those children whose behavior falls outside the norm in such a way as to cause significant problems for themselves or others. At SANGOPAN we strive to enhance the wellbeing of children by facilitating their emotional, interpersonal, and intellectual development. We listen carefully to concerns children have about their lives and provide emotional support, impart life skills, and encourage self-reflection; all with the purpose of empowering children to navigate their way toward greater autonomy and effectiveness. This is accomplished by providing individual counseling to children as well as parents. We at SANGOPAN through child counseling provide your little ones with an environment where they can explore their difficulties through child-friendly and holistic approaches. During this type of therapy, children are encouraged to play games or play with toys that they enjoy. And we then oversee the children’s activities, which can reveal a great deal about their emotions and feelings. The other is commonly used ‘Talk therapy’ during this type of therapy, children are often encouraged to talk about and explore their feeling. And we help children cope with and work through past problems and current challenges that they may make them feel scared, angry, or generally uneasy. At SANGOPAN the services are designed to promote the academic, personal, and social growth of children. My approach is very intentionally "Person Centered", which means techniques and therapies are mixed and matched to suit the individual's specific needs.
