Proud Moment

Grade 6 student Ashok Thombare participated in Maharashta Thaiboxing State Selection Championship 2023 Organized by Latur Thaiboxing Association Latur Dist. He won a silver medal and an appreciation certificate.
This competition was held on 23-24 December 2022.

Check Up camp held for Parent's on 03rd December 2022.

Collaborated with - Sneh Foundation ( Dr. Shrushti Shiram)

Support- H.V Desai hospital, Hadapsar, Pune-411060.
1- Dr.Sakshi Patil
2- Dr Subham Tipole.

Eye check up camp was done with respect to vision testing and cataract screening.

Facilities:
*For parents short distance spectacle would be provided at a lower cost and long distance spectacles could be ordered from the hospital.
*Both would be provided as per the need and patient’s willingness to purchase.

Operation would be free of cost in case of normal cataract surgeries.

If the patient is willing to undergo laser cataract surgery then 6500 would be the charges. Which ischeaper from another hospitals.

Another step forward for the well-being of parent's and stakeholders of the school🙌

*YOUVA* Art Competition which was held a few weeks back. More than 500 students participated in this competition. Out of these 16 drawings were finalized as winners.

Dispel the Darkness of IGNORANCE

The excitement, enthusiasm and celebration was in the air .

We've come a long way, with so many academic learnings, creative activities, achievements and many more events. Indeed the 1st half of the academic year has been amazing with surprises and happiness among all our stakeholders in school.

LDRKEMS Student Council….can’t believe that our students have grown so big that they will now be a part of student council.

The election process started last week. Grades 3-6 are a part of our very first Student council.
We will have-
Head Boy-1 from grade 6
Head Girl-1 from grade 6
Asst Head Boy-1 from grade 5
Asst Head Girl-1 from grade 5
And 12 student council members.

For the final Student Council selection, the process is as follows-
Step 1- Interested students filled the nomination form.
Step 2- Shortlisted candidates went through a panel interview.
Step 3- Presentations by final chosen candidates
Step 4- Voting by students.
Step 5- Voting by Teachers
Step 6- counting of total votes and announcing the LDRKEMS Student Council.
Step 7- Voting for Head boy, Head girl, Asst Head boy, Asst Head girl
Step 8- Felicitation of student council.

It has been a wonderful journey so far…we are almost at the final stage. Students are getting a different exposure and we all are enjoying the process.

"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision."

*Grade 4* students of LDRKEMS came together to work towards a task given by their teacher.

*Pratiti Didi* - The topic taken was "Make A Collage on a Famous Personality." (Sportpersons from Indian Men-Women Cricket, Kabbadi, Football, Hockey)

The students were divided into 5 groups and each group consists of 8 students each. Each group had given one name of the sportperson. On the 1st day students researched on Tabs and then each member in the group collated the data and made A Collage of all the information, few students came up with prints outs and drawings.

TPS (Think Pair Share) and Collaboration was seen among all the groups. Students enjoyed and learned during the process.

LDRKEMS celebrated LDOM (last day of month) this time with students doing role play of 5 Indian festivals-Diwali, Navratri,
Christmas, Guru nanak jayanti and Eid.
All grades (K-6) participated and explained the importance of these 5 festivals in their respective grades.
The entire event was led by grade rep parents or by students (higher grades) from making groups to script/dance etc post school.
There was minimal involvement of teachers.
Great to see the explanation and importance of these festivals during the role play. Sharing a glimpse of same.
