Dear students ,
As you know that debate is one of the most important portion of cbse class 12th english exam .

It always come in writing section in board exam so here we will study point to point about it .

First we should know that what is debate ?

Debate is a discussion on a matter which is given to the speaker . It should be in formal language .
Here you can express your views on the topic unbondably.

How to attempt a question on Debate writing.

Here you have choice to write for the motion or against the motion but firstly
you will have to understand the topic.

As- Corruption - Always against the motion
Su***de - Always against the motion.
Forestation - Always for the motion

I hope you understood what I want to say .

An attractive debate consists three main points.
1- Introduction
2- Body
3- conclusion

Debate marking is 10 marks in annual exam.
1-Format (1 mark)
2- content ( 4 marks)
3-expression ( 5 marks)
Total -10 marks .

So I suggest the students please be attentive to this topic because it is very simple and very important for your annual exam.
